The Summa Theologica: Complete Edition
The Summa Theologica: Complete Edition

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Kindle edition I've found, 29 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Having tried a number of Kindle editions and found them poorly formatted, this came as a breath of fresh air. Well formatted, with good use of bold type for headings, and clear navigational links for getting around what is a vast and complex book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A gripping and moving children's book, 29 May 2014
This review is from: The Tin Snail (Hardcover)
Our 10 year old loved this. He read it in one day and was gripped. He found it very interesting and lively. He also found it moving and would recommend it. He especially liked the part when the entire village was hiding the pieces of the car!

1.0 out of 5 stars Hawking has disowned this book, 22 Mar 2007
Stephen Hawking's home page states that he hasn't endorsed this book and that "a complaint was made to the Federal Trade Commission in the US in the hope that they would prevent the publication". The site urges people "not to purchase this book in the belief that Professor Hawking was involved in its creation."

3.0 out of 5 stars Great translation, but buy a full-size edition, 17 Oct 2002
The ESV is a superb translation -- I would recommend that anyone considering buying a new Bible buy a copy, and have little to add to the reviews for the other editions. Rating for the translation: *****
However, I would not recommend buying this compact edition. The typeface is truly minuscule -- like reading the small print on a legal contract. Gave me a headache within five minutes of trying to read it. Rating for this edition: *
Buy the "modern" or "popular" hardback versions instead.
