I spent a couple of hours reading the reviews of case covers for my new ipad air: on the strength of those I plumped for this case and chose the red. I love it! So thank you to all those who took the trouble to write a review.
The case is lightweight, slim but strong; elegantly designed; holds the ipad securely; the case folds back to make a supportive stand; magnet does what it should do; all the holes in the cover correspond accurately with the portals on the device and the colour is much nicer than in the picture. All in all it is a brilliant cover for a brilliant bit of technology.

A brilliant iron that makes the job of ironing almost a pleasure! Great steam, heats quickly, glides smoothly, good capacity water reservoir, comfortable to hold, useful safety cut-off feature, generous flex length, great value -what's not to like?!!! I'm waxing lyrical in relief after finally ditching a fairly new, but totally hopeless, Bosch iron.
I would strongly recommend this product.

2.0 out of 5 stars Avoid!, 31 Aug 2012
Bought this iron about 18 months ago and initially it was fine. My only complaint was that the ridged handle was sometimes uncomfortable after a long stint of ironing and it never seemed to get really hot. Now however, like other reviewers have found, it is continually dripping water from the sole plate whilst in use and, more alarmingly, regularly trips the electrics. Of course it is out of guarantee but there is evidently a design fault. I'm fed up with it now and having read other reviews and the Which?, am going to buy the Philips GC2930 powerlife.

Bought this dvd on the strength of the reviews -so thanks everybody! Agree with all the comments -yes it's cheesy, the girls are intimidatingly toned, it's dated, BUT it is a jolly good workout.
I did stepping regularly 15 years ago so the routines are reassuringly familiar and easy to follow if you've done it before. He calls the steps well in time and it's filmed in such a way that it is simple to see what is required. I think the music is quite catchy and has a strong beat which helps with the timing. Don't be put off by the 'foreign import' bit - it arrived in the post as normal and plays fine on my DVD player. Have only used it for a couple of weeks but already feel better for it!
PS love the parrot!
PPS Gilad please bring out an updated version.

Bought this for my 86 year old mother who struggles with ordinary tin openers due to arthritis in fingers and wrist. It's a hit! This is a great relief after previously trying a one-touch battery operated opener which was useless and ended up in the bin almost straight away. Mum hasn't had any problems with using the Kenwood and doesn't find positioning the cans difficult. Her only negative comment was that the instructions could be more clearly worded and that there is a bit of a knack to removing the lid from the magnet.

This review is from: Lucy's Food (Hardcover)
Years ago I swore that I would not buy another cookery book - many turn out not to be that useful and just clutter up the kitchen. I read about Lucy's Food recently in the Daily Telegraph and my interest was roused by its origins from the recipes used in ski chalets. This brought back happy memories of the fantastic food rustled up in miniscule kitchens that I've enjoyed on skiing holidays. So, having also read the other reviews, I decided to purchase a copy.
What a brilliant book! It really 'does what it says on the tin' -maximum impact: minimum effort. Every recipe is vey doable, easy, quick and delicious (at least the ones I've tried so far!) & the ingredients are readily available. There are handy tips to get the best out every recipe and advice on what to do with left-overs. The recipes are clearly set out with an accompanying picture for each. There are also pages at the begining of the book on how and where to buy the ingredients, and some basic cookery advice which could be useful for those with not much experience.
It is a fantastic book and I really will not be buying another cookery book!

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 17 Feb 2012
I bought this can opener for my elderly mother who has very limited use of her hands and who finds an ordinary opener impossible to use. On the fourth time of using it, the opener ground to a halt half-way round a tin. Despite considerable brute force it proved impossible to extricate it from the can. The only option was to chuck it all in the bin. Very disappointing!
