1.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievably poor., 18 Oct. 2006
This review is from: Greatest Hits (Audio CD)
Wierd Al Yankovic is about as funny as finding out a relative has died. Simply changing certain words to songs and making stupid faces in videos is not witty. I hate him and everything he stands for. My ex-friend played this album excessively thinking it was funny. We no longer speak after i threatened to eviscerate him. Don't buy this, for humours's sake.

5.0 out of 5 stars What Modern Rock Should Sound Like, 11 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Wolf's Return (Audio CD)
Why is this album not at the top of the rock charts? While Trivium, Bullet for my Valentine etc release emo-tinged metal sacrilage, Grand Magus continue to forge iron fisted heavy metal from the very volcanoes of Hades. This is fist pumping joyous metal as it should be - silly, ott, well played, and created by people with names like 'Fox'.
The musicianship is phenomenal, with a crazy tight rhythm section complemented by the unbelievably talented guitar and voice of singer JB. He probably has the best voice i've heard in metal since Brucey Dickinson or John Garcia. Buy this now, then rent a castle, tear off your clothes, grab an axe, and run around a lot.
