SourceWidepac (1.5 Litres)
SourceWidepac (1.5 Litres)

2.0 out of 5 stars source widepac 1.5 litre hydration reservoir, 20 Mar. 2013
This review is from: SourceWidepac (1.5 Litres) (Misc.)
I bought the 1.5 later version of this as a replacement for my camelbak.I liked the simple opening system plus the quick release on the hose.
first impressions were good. easy to fill, dry and leak proof.
the problems started when I used it.
I use it with a inov8 race elite20 pack which has no back padding and is a very light pack.the bladder fitted fine and was held in place by the velcroe strap no problem but at some point my pack must have fallen over because unbeknown to me the bladder had slid out of the plastic slider so less than 1km into my run I had a soaking wet back, bag and was .5 liter of water down!so I think they need a locking clasp or something.just be aware it can happen.
then there is the hose, way too much of it!!and its thick so its not exactly easy to coil up out of the way.I have cut mine to length now so its not too bad. a clip to attach it to the shoulder strap would be good as it has quite a big valve that does bounce about a bit.
also, I don't find the flow that good, you have to suck hard to get the water and its a bit intermittent, and no, the hose is not kinked.
then there is the white plastic ridge that the bag folds over and the slider grips to seal the bag, well its started to come away from the bag after 1 week ownership and only 2 outings!!so if that falls off I have a nice blue bag......
I do think the bladder is OK ish,but it could be better.

Speedo Mens 150 Lap Smoke And Black Watch

3.0 out of 5 stars functional, 13 Mar. 2013

its a good sleek watch for pool use but i thought it had an accelerometer to count strokes but it doesnt.u have to physically press the lap button at the end of each length which slows things up a bit.oyher than that its ok

4.0 out of 5 stars great jersey, 13 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
great good quality jersey, fits me well and im quite broad shouldered.also the decal is NOT the iron on stuff that peels off after a couple of washes so still looks good and hasnt faded.
the only issue i had was the zip, as with all these things they scrimp somewhere and here it was the zip.it often opened from the bottom up of its own accord but never actually broke but i got it replaced none the less.sorted now

1.0 out of 5 stars awful, avoid, 13 Mar. 2013

not good at all.cheap, nasty and badly made.just appeared to be a bit of flimsy card badly covered with a cheap material attatched to an ill fitting back cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars great item, 13 Mar. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
good simple item.easy to fit to the bike, not obtrusive in any way and maked switching from bike to run a doddle.
only down side is it makes the watch a bit bulkier.not tried removing a wetsuit over it yet but so far no complaints.
