This review is from: The Singles (Audio CD)
Feeder have probably picked slightly the wrong time for this release. Why? Well, why they have enough songs to make this Singles full of great songs, they have too many to fit on one CD, and so if they had waited for another 2 albums they would have had enough to have a complete set.

Im glad this album has sold well, as it is a testement to the fact that Feeder are still one of the most underrated bands. True, some songs are over rated, but as a whole, they are always suprising.

SOng by song review

1) Come Back Around - Feeders comeback song after jons death. Storming single 9/10

2) Buck Rogers - Annoying sometimes but it gets any crowd going 8/10

3) Shatter - Superb Heavy song and a clue as to where Feeder are going 9/10

4) Just The Way Im Feeling - One of their best, great lyrics 10/10

5) Lost And Found - SHoddy for feeder really, but still ok 6/10

6) Just A Day - Same as Buck Rogers Really 8/10

7) High - Earliest song on the album, shows brilliance 10/10

8) Comfort In SOund - STorming song, worth every second 10/10

9)Feeling A Moment - Another Stormer let down by the woohoos 9/10

10) Burn The Bridges - Better live than on record 9/10

11)Tumble And Fall - SLowest song on the album, bit boring but still good melody 7/10

12) Forget About Tomorrow - Slow but orchestrally brilliant 8/10

13) Tender - another slowy. Not too bad 8/10

14) Pushing The Senses - Faster than A Speeding Train, STunning 10/10

15) Save Us - Just STunning 11/10

16) Seven Days - Nice surfer song 9/10

17) Insomnia - Another fast, very good earlier song 9/10

18) Turn - Good song from echo park, but there are better songs on that album 8/10

19) Yesterday Went Too Soon - There are few better songs in the world 12/10

20) Suffocate remix - Another early song, ok 7/10

its a good selection but is a bit slow in the middle and there are some glaring emissons in cement, crash, day in day out, Paperfaces and find the colour. Also the non singles such as my perfect day, we cant rewind, piece by piece, Pilgrim soul and Your my evergreen which just as easily could have fitted on here.

my advice buy this, but buy yesterday went too soon and echo park as well

4.0 out of 5 stars Judging On Live, 17 Jun 2005
This review is from: Young For Eternity (Audio CD)
From there live performances and singles i can judge that this will be one of the biggest debut albums of 05. To describe their sound, sort of stripes, nirvana and ash rolled into one. You have to love Oh Yeah, and rock and roll queen is still growing on me. Lots more great songs on the album, buy it!

4.0 out of 5 stars I'll Put This Two Ways, 6 Jan 2005
Feeders new album is a make or break situation. Put simply the problems began with the sudden death of Jon Lee, Feeders superb drummer. This was just after Feeders high point, Echo Park, Reading 2001 and Just A Day. Grant was shocked and was said to be so upset that he and taka went into the studio simply because 'they had nothing else to do'. This is why, simply put, it is a mellow album of Grants feelings around the time. That album made many new feeder fans which were not quite with it on echo park. Those who have liked feeder at least since echo park felt they'd lost there power. SO to so many fans this will be the breaking point.
IF YOU LOVED CIS
This album has a few superb tracks. The current single is one which stands out, but frequency with its melodic piano part is just as good. You are the luckier of the to groups
IF YOU LOVED PRE ECHO PARK
Ok, it won't match any old feeder BUT buy it anyway. Why? Pushing The senses overdriven guitars will make you think your listening to an old feeder album, and Bitter Glass also holds some power within. And Feeling a moment should equally satisfy.
So whichever group you fit into it shouldn't totally disappoint, infact in neither should it disappoint. This has been a quiet success for feeder, and I think soon some will realise that this could be one of 2005's suprisingly Big Albums.

After Free All ANgels You Thought They Couldn't Get Better - WRONG
The songs contain a harder edge, but still the ash ballads
highlights include Out Of The Blue, Starcrossed, Won't Be Saved, Orpheus and Clones, but the title track will blow you away
