As he puts it in his autobiography he talk sings everything but it works on this. I listen to this with a broad grin on my face from start to finish but not because its a comedy record but because he knows he is taking the mick and he does it tongue firmly in cheek from start to finish. If nothing else he has Zak Wylde riffing on his CD.

God bless Captain Kirk/Shatner :)

This is a supberb album, after having heard the EPs I was hoping that a full album would deliver and it does. Essentially it is just good old-fashioned hard rock that does what it says on the tin. I would recommend this album without any shadow of doubt but where the Black Spiders really deliver is as a live band. Go see them and you will buy this album and want more.

What can be said about this album apart from why took so long to turn out this drivel I will never know. As far as I can tell Axl spends most of his time whinging that no one likes him or the band. That may be because of the way he has behaved in the past over imagined or real hurts.

As far as the band goes they all sound like competent musicians but due to the number of them used during the recording there is no definable sound. The real effect this achives is that it sounds like a lot of session players each playing their snippet and then leaving the studio for the next player. Over all there is not one stand out track on this album I could say even would warrant buying this realease just for the one track.

And as someone who had the privilege to see the original line up a number of times I would advise you to save your money and purchase something else alternatively find someone who can download a copy and is willing to waist their bandwidth on this release.
