5.0 out of 5 stars My children really loved this book, 14 April 2016
This review is from: Where's the Starfish? (Paperback)
My children really loved this book. They are aged 6 and 5. The book is about life at sea and the threat of pollution. The book is very vibrant with beautifully illustrated pages. There are no words, the pictures tell the story allowing children to see and tell the story for themselves. Also there are a few characters to find on every page. My youngest particularly enjoyed this part! My boys quickly could see how unhappy the fish were will all the rubbish piling up and it opened up a discussion on how the fish were feeling and what could we do to help them. They were also happy to see all the fish happy at the end! I think the message of conservation is well expressed in this book and is at a level suitable for a wide age range of children.

Really bad to rip. Cannot be placed in existing sello tape dispensers. So a bit useless unless you use the whole role at once.

5.0 out of 5 stars A personal recap, 17 Sept. 2013

A great recap of Peter's life. I would have loved more in depths experience but appreciate that he wouldn't want to share it. This book is about belief, wishful thinking, a lot of action and a summary of Peter's never ending commitment for a better world. Well done.

DRINKS WATER BOTTLE - NEW 600 ML Midnight Blue
DRINKS WATER BOTTLE - NEW 600 ML Midnight Blue

1.0 out of 5 stars waste of money, 30 Aug. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this item but found it cheaper elsewhere within a few days of purchase. The ring of the screw cap scratches the paint and the stainless steel comes out underneath the colour. Also the drinking from the mouth piece is not easy, so you end up unscrewing the top. So useless for sports activities. Overall not very happy. The paint now peels off after only a few months, maybe due to putting it in dishwasher, my 18 months old put it in his mouth, and the bottle start leaking. Waste of money. Will contact seller now for refund.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice piece of kit!, 10 Dec. 2011

I like this HIFI. Admittedly I only had it for 3 days but it replaces a 20 year old Kenwood one. The thing I like best that it is versatile: iPod/iPhone, USB stick, CD, DAB radio. And, you can connect your turntable or TV (or both via a switch) through the line in on the back (red/black). Great.

A small draw back are the speakers which are fine but compared to my 20 year old SonoBull they are still lacking a bit of quality (2 way as supposed to 3 way). But that is ok. The ones from Pioneer are fine and nothing to worry about (see other reviews). Again, a nice 2 way switch connects my old and new speakers to the system and let's me choose the combination of speakers.

More annoying is that the USB reader doesn't work with my 32 GB memory stick (downgrade to 4 stars!). It works with my 2 GB stick though. So before you spend too much money on one, maybe test it first.

Overall a nice piece of kit that can be used by anyone that wants an all in one HIFI which does the job. I am confident it will last me a good few years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice Novel, 13 Sept. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Do not expect a sequel from the first book. This book takes place within the first book whilst Dan is travelling around the world.
Compared to the first book I find this a great novel, purely fiction, that is just lovely to read. No "spiritual enlightment" as in the first book. If you liked the first one, do not hesitate to read this one too. But read it with joy rather than looking for the great wisdom.
