I plugged this into the wall and connected a small electric air pump
that works fine in the car. After a moment of anaemic pumping I heard a bleak 'phutt' and that was the end of this plug's brief and miserable life.
This poor plug never had a chance. Released into the cruel world with only an eggshell thin casing for protection, its tiny circuitboard, lovingly soldered by colobus monkeys rejected from a Shakespeare writing workshop, barely had a moment to illuminate its shabby little LED before it was snuffed out forever.
Perhaps there is something endearing about Christmas cracker engineers trying to better themselves but I'd rather they stuck to flowers that squirt water and steered clear of mains voltage.
It is sheer transformer abuse to call something a 'UK Mains to 12v Car Charger Adapter Converter Plug' if it can't deliver enough current to power a pacemaker.
