5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and charming and well acted, 9 May 2013

We are enjoying this series, never having seen it before. It's a lovely world we are allowed into. To be brutally honest, season one was perfect, and the loss of Liz Smith's character, Zilla, and the loss of the Arlis's Mom, played by Dawn French, and the loss of Sir Timothy's character really disappointed me when we entered series two. But it is great nonetheless, but those three characters were so important that it seems a shame the stories couldn't have been stretched out, or reworked to keep them in longer. Liz Smith is a gem. But over all, a wonderful set which can take one to another beautiful world for an hour each episode.

Outstanding. Excellent writing and acting. Simply marvelous, beautiful, moving, and heartwarming. Superb story, superb acting by one and all. Miranda Hart's "Chummy" is wonderfully realized. And Sister Bernadette, and all. And the expectant mothers! Can not praise this series enough. Don't know how much more can be made, but I am hoping for at least another great season three!
