Thoroughly enjoyed this book as will anyone 'suffering ' in the present recession. The characters are very real and familiar. They encapsulate all human traits, the good and the bad. The story is told with lots of humour which is how we Irish 'get through' tough times. This story is applicable to any town in Ireland. Be prepared for some strong language and reminded me of Roddy Doyle's style.
