4.0 out of 5 stars No problems, 15 July 2011

This case is pretty worthwhile, and definitely the best on the market for the price. It is protective (if a little chunky when compared to the covers of other tablets) and the folding functions offer good angles to work at.

For this price, this bag is unbeatable. It's waterproof, excellently sized, easy to use, and very durable. I've had this for about 6 months now and used it recklessly and it has shown no signs of wear and tear. Simple and understated, it provides everything you expect and want from a chalk bag.

Animal Arms: Ultimate Size and Shape Training for Building Monstrous Arm Muscles
Animal Arms: Ultimate Size and Shape Training for Building Monstrous Arm Muscles
by Robert Kennedy
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.37

2.0 out of 5 stars Meh, 15 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This bookazine disappointed me. I expected innovative and intelligent insights into the science behind muscle growth and strength training and instead received a narrative from a seemingly confused author who decided to fill up the pages by literally repeating the same point over and over again. The constant reiteration that intensity and commitment will give you big arms seemed nothing but common sense, and as the author rephrased this sentiment 43 times over the course of 2 pages, I felt a little robbed.
It provides little information past the obvious for strength/muscle building, and isn't worth your time.

This book isn't great. Definitely for children between the ages of 5 and maybe 9. The facts are interesting but very vague and leave you wanting to know more about the context etc...

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 15 July 2011

For the price tag, this product is excellent. Forearms are so underworked by many gym-goers, and this will help you develop a vice like grip. Durable, discrete, and brilliant. I would definitely recommend the X-Heavy tension (11lb pressure) as you will soon work your way out of the less resistant ones, whereas this will keep you struggling for a long time, putting your muscles under the most pressure and forcing the best results.
Also an excellent warm up tool for rock-climbers/bowlers, and fits nicely in the palm of your hand when in use, allowing for a comfortable workout.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Worth It, Truly Innovative Regime, 15 July 2011
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought Shaun T's Insanity mainly as I didn't have time to go to the gym, and, as it requires no equipment, provided a no hassle workout. I paid just over 60 for this and I have to say, it is well worth the price tag, especially if you consider a gym membership will set you back 30 a month.
The layout itself is great, 16 DVDs worth of intense cardio regimes that WILL challenge you, regardless of level. Even as you imrpove, the concept lies around the principle that you must increase your intensity, an idea that you can't help but follow as you begin to see results. Honestly, try the regime, and after 3 days, I promise you will see results. I've done workouts with my brother, friends, and girlfriend and each have shared the positive reviews with me.
I've been heavily into exercise for the past 5 years, and consider myself fit, but regardless of that fact, this program pushes me to my limits, and I feel fitter, more agile and more energised than ever. Shaun T's exercises are inventive and fun, as well as challenging, and the manner of each workout forces you to push through your pain to help you get results.
Present is also a very informative food diary/nutrition plan, however I was unable to keep up with the demands due to long working hours. I would recommend that those who are interested in this DVD focus on the content of the workouts, and if, like me, you are unable to follow the food, just be sensible (don't eat lots of crisps and try to at least eat some of the foods suggested, just not at the frequency suggested). Even without the nutrition plan I got great results in the first 3 days, and after the first month I had seen my body fat percentage drop from 11% to 7%, a huge drop that really shows across my torso and abs, stripping away the fat that previously covered my 6 pack.
Everyone has a 6 pack, the difficulty is in unleashing it by breaking through the fat on top, and as you unfortunately cannot isolate fat loss, this DVD shocks your body into all round fat loss that will leave you ecstatic, trust me.
In terms of ease, this beats P90x by a long shot, the fact no equipment is required is just a bonus.
This is well worth the price tag, and you will be glad you bought it after you've done your first DVD!

WARNING
As with everything, it does require willpower, and the DVDs won't do the work for you, you actually must participate and push yourself.

Tricks Of The Mind
Tricks Of The Mind
by Derren Brown
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.29

5.0 out of 5 stars A very interesting and eye opening read, 1 Nov 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: Tricks Of The Mind (Paperback)
This book is very well written. Brown instantly wins the respect of the reader with his humorous yet in no way over-the-top conversationalist writing style, allowing for easy reading that makes the book all the more enjoyable. The topic easily allows for a pretentious and arrogant approach however this is certainly not the case with Brown, whose insights seem more like a friend explaining hidden truths as opposed to a high-ranking expert resentfully revealing the secrets of his trade. The book contains extremely interesting insights into Brown's world; the chapter on "Memory" is particularly notable due to the usefulness it offers the reader in everday life. All in all a truly wonderful read that will leave you wanting more yet feeling as though you have learnt useful skills and shocking facts about the human mind and the exploitative nature in which some have chosen to profit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely underrated and exquisitely poetic, 1 Nov 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
"Peaceful The World Lays Me Down" is a truly marvellous album. Each song seems to have been written first as a poem before any form of musical influence has been discussed, presenting the listener with beautiful lyrics that comment on life, love, and a realisation of self. There are many who would write these lyrics off as being too "emotional" or "negative", however when the songs are taken as a whole the messages portray themselves as optimistic reflections that encourage a sense of freedom and empowerment. One reviewer has based their "2 Star" report on the hope that each song would resemble "5 Years Time" but this is an extremely unfair interpretation, lacking the creative ability to see past the song that radio stations arguably overplayed. "Shape Of My Heart", "Mary", and "Second Lover" are just three of the songs that Noah and the Whale can be proud of, offering the listener a deep and meaningful few minutes in which to relax. This album is for anyone who considers themselves remotely creative or imaginative. When compared to the newer album "The First Days Of Spring", "Peaceful The World Lays Me Down" truly shows it's class, offering a much more exciting and emotive experience that unfortunately could not be emulated.
