4.0 out of 5 stars A very good guide, 29 Jun 2005
This is a very interesting guide. It has packs of information on all the main characters such as Luke, Yoda, Obi Wan, Han Solo, Chewbacca, Leia, Darth Vader and the Emperor. It explains the history of all of them that either was not mentioned or you were likely to have missed. Other characters include Jabba, C3PO, R2D2 and Boba Fett, all with bonus information. It has basically a full guide on Jabba's Palace, the Storm Troopers and Mos Eisley. It includes even the most minor characters and creatures, with at least a brief comment, or even an entire paragraph. Did you think there'd be a lot of information on the Rebo Band, Darth Vader's bounty hunters or the canteen. It even includes characters seen extremely briefly or never seen at all(unless they are in the background). It has fascinating facts about all the different creatures, and the Jawas and the Sand People even get full pages! It has information on practically every single thing seen in Star Wars!

4.0 out of 5 stars Enjoyable but bad, 2 Jun 2005
There are many evil masterminds in Doctor Who, but none quite like Professor Zaroff who is something out of a James Bond movie. He is just like a classic mad scientist, with an absolutely ridiculous plot. There are the mysterious fish people, who look awful, but are good fun, and there's Atlantis. And this is bad. No doubt about it, this is one bad story, but it is wonderfully bad, and very enjoyable. Absolutely unique, and enjoyable.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best episodes ever, 24 May 2005
Definately not one of the scariest, but one of the best. The Doctor and Jo land on the miniaturised SS Bernice, where a plesiosaur lurks in the water, and they must encounter the carnivorous Drashigs. It is great, with a strange fascination to it. You are intrigued, and want to see what happens next. The cliff hangers are most unusual, and you are never expecting what happens next, like when the plesiosaur appears, and when a Drashig comes out of the water. It has a bit of humor to it, and the Drashigs have a chilling scream and are surprisingly scary. Worth buying. Flawless.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth watching, but not worth buying., 24 May 2005
This was by no means a bad episode of Doctor Who, and Sylvestor McCoy and Sophie Aldred were good at acting. The monstrous Husks were quite frightening, and there were some hideous transformations that were not mentioned, but I found them chilling. The second episode was one of the scariest in the series, and the first episode's build up was wonderful, and it got you really tense. When I was watching the second episode with my friends, one of them was petrified. That, as you may think would get a five out of five review, but no. I watched the first two episodes, terrified, and I was expecting a horrifying final episode. But there are no scary moments at all. The character of Light is terrible, and it never really makes sense. There are no scary transformations, no tension, no horror whatsoever. Light is well animated, and the part where he turns people to stone are the only good things about the final episodes. Don't worry, this is not a terrible episode, and if you bought it, don't be alarmed. This is definately worth watching, but I wouldn't buy it if I were you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why does everyone hate this???, 2 Jan 2005
For some reason everyone hates this film. Yes, it is quite un Bondish, but it is still a good film. The villains are good, the DNA changing Gustav Graves to the scarred Zao, who is one of the best right hand men yet. He doesn't have a ridiculous super power like throwing his hat, or a robot arm, even though we enjoy those. But he is still a creepy character. The plot line is really good, and Pierce Brosnan acts very well as do the Bond girls. It also has the best beginning and ending sequence so far. And the beginning song is good too. I don't see why everyone hates this, probably just because it's new.
