Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Whether you're a professional sound engineer, at home producer, or simply someone who likes to listen to their music with truly good quality equipment, I could not recommend these more. Beautiful extended but not at all sibilant, astounding mids, and the bass is tight and still very present. I have seen many complain over the lack of bass in these, but to be honest, it seems to be perfect. Balanced well to not be over powering, but not as faint so listing to more bass heavy genres (e.g. dub step or hip hop) is definitely still very pleasurable (although, of course, if you don't care about sound quality and just want loads of bass go for Beats). Expensive, which is a given, but Shure have truly delivered a world class listening experience which, in my humble opinion, rivals the HD800; and is considerably cheaper. If you're worried by the price tag? Don't be, you won't regret it.

Okay, so I have always been a massive user of windows machines. However, I found out that these machines are an extreme battery life, so I decided to take the plunge and go mac.
Now I'm not a movie editor or a graphic designer, I'm a student, and I find this machine amazing, it has really helped me in day to day life. Stunningly fast with brilliant battery, just a generally top notch machine. If you have the money, you will not regret buying a MacBook Pro, for even a second.

And as a reminder, if you need windows, you can install it via bootcamp in OSX

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty damn awesome!, 30 Jun. 2007
The people below are correct...Including a HD DVD player and wireless would just make you all complain about how it costs £400. When this is really unecessary because you can download your HD movies from the market place cheaper and the real decent gamers use a wire to connect their consoles. And no, it is not a PS3 wannabe...because PS3s are crap. I have one and am sorly dissappointed...the games do not have the same quality and are not as thought through, the interface is not user friendly, much alike the PS3, the old stuff from the PS2 are still there and appale us all. Now the 360 purly on tech specs is 50% better for gaming. I know this because I'm a coder, the xbox 360 allows command lines to be inputed in one command whereas the PS3 needs up to nine. The poly rate is also alot higher on the 360. The game quailty on the 360 is much higher, halo 3 for example. I'm sure you all played the beta! =) really, this new console with the revised version of the 360 motherboard and the HDMI digital link to the HDTV to allow upscaling of movies finally allowing true HD and supplying the £60 cable, which sony didnt do...which is like saying " yeah we're the only true HD console, but you'll have to buy that wire separatly "...but the best bit is this...The PS3 20GB model has been discontinued, and one black console has come off the shelf...to be replaced by a much better one...But seriously, if you have a original 360, just buy the bigger drive, HDMI doesnt matter that much at all. Oh and one final point for the sony fans who are still convinced on the superiourity of their overpriced and underdelievred machine, Xbox live is the most entertaining innovation of gaming technology...and the PS3 online is shoddy and not quite up to scratch. hope you found this useful.
