Price: £10.49

3.0 out of 5 stars TV Script, 6 Aug 2014

The book is very much based on recycled plots from the TV series with a little new material added.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Product, almost!, 16 May 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Efficient and prompt delivery. Good instructions. The keypad is compact, but feels sturdy and well engineered. I am using it with Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 . Connection of the keypad and sync with the tablet was simple; it almost seemed to do it on its own.
Only four stars because it is a USA keyboard layout which does does cause confusion over whereabouts of @ & £...in UK...they are there though as you can see!
Caps light and many function keys do not sync with Samsung Tablet.
It is a great product at a great price if you want a decent basic sturdy keyboard.
If you want all the bells and whistles to work, you may be disapointed because this product may just be trying to cover too many bases with one device.

5.0 out of 5 stars Difficult to put down!, 31 Jan 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I caught the tail end of an article about this book on the BBC Radio 4 'Sunday' programme a couple of weeks ago. Having started to read the book I found it very difficult to put down until I had finished it. Reading Eric Cordingly's diary and notes of his time as a POW Padre is a humbling, and inspirational experience. Thank you Louise Cordingly for publishing your father's story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Value for Money, 22 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchased as replacement for original battery in an old Dell Inspion 1501 laptop.
This battery was £17 compared with Dell replacement part advertised at £115!
After almost a month of use this battery is performing very well; it was fully recognised by the computer battery microprocessor, and has better performance than the original battery when it was new. I think this product is fantastic value for money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Sorbothane Pro Insoles, 27 Mar 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
The insoles are very wide and thick. They did not fit my running shoes or walking boots. They cannot really be considered a replacement insole; to be effective you would need to buy your footwear to fit the insole. Very disappointed, could not assess their technical performance because I could not get them to fit comfortably into any existing footwear.

Letters from an Extreme Pilgrim: Reflections on Life, Love and the Soul
Letters from an Extreme Pilgrim: Reflections on Life, Love and the Soul

Rev Owen Jones lays bare his soul in his latest book. The contents of his letters are both a challenge and an inspiration. I think those who have read and were moved by 'Bed of Nails' and 'Small Boat Big Sea' will, probably not be able to put it down until they have finished it; and when they have finished it, not be able to stop reflecting on it. God Bless you Rev.

1.0 out of 5 stars A bit disapointed!, 22 Aug 2009
This product seemed very attractive on the basis of its price,4 season rating, and external pole design.
You would probably pay £400 for a tent with this spec'!
On errecting the tent in the garden to try it out I was dissapointed to find that it was faulty, one of the loops holding a hook that attaches the fly to the poles had not been properly sewn back into the fly sheet, leaving half the loop fraying. That would soon come away in the first storm.
A quality control fault like that does not fill you with confidence when it comes to build quality.
Pitching the tent was quite straight forward given the complicated pole design, but I was concerned how I would manage to put the poles together in the dark during a storm, if the connecting bungee cords had broken!
Having pitched the tent (on my flat lawn) I found it impossible to adjust the inner tent to remove creases from the groundsheet.
Even worse, it was impossible to adjust the sagging inner tent at the foot so that it was clear of the flysheet.
I felt condensation would be a real problem.
Given the manufacturing fault, and my concerns about the design I sent it back to the supplier.
I now await delivery of a Vaude Taurus 1 to replace a tent of the same make that I have had for many years. The only fault I found with the Taurus was again, contact between inner and outer tent at the foot; although Vaude seem to have carried out a mod' to fix this on the latest version

In his forward to the book Mr. Miller states that his intention was, 'to produce something for students and interested general readers that is both brief and clear'. As an interested general reader I think he achieves his aim entirely.
