5.0 out of 5 stars Highly recommended, 22 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This review is from: A Grief Observed (Paperback)
I bought this book for my father, after my much loved mother died. C.S. Lewis writes eloquently about things that we struggle to find words for. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who has to learn to live with a profound loss, particularly that of a life partner.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good addition to the chair, 9 Jun 2010
I bought this to entertain my 13 week old daughter, and she likes to play with the spinning toys. It is an essential addition to the chair, as the child gets older and needs more stimulation. My only complaint is that the position is not adjustable, and so is a little far for her hands to reach, but this is a problem that will solve itself as she gets older.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exquisite and complex book, 27 Feb 2009
This review is from: London Deluxe (Hardcover)
Richard Bryant's photographs show London as a complex city. The quality of light and detail is astonishing and it is a book that can be revisited many times, as there is always something more to discover in its pages. The depth and scope of the project is really impressive, as is the photographer's range and insight into the panoramas and details of London.
