1.0 out of 5 stars The Passionate Flop, 23 April 2010
This review is from: The Passion [DVD] [2008] (DVD)
This is by far the worst enactment of the life of Christ that I have ever encountered. Scripture was clearly a sideline for this movie and re-invention the priority. In the Garden of Gethsemane Jesus appears to be rebelliously challenging the Father, rather than humbly submitting to the Divine Will as is clearly the case in Scripture. The words of Jesus for this scene have been recorded in Scripture. Why not use it instead of this humanistic gospel? If it is the truth that you want, steer clear of this flop. If you have money to waste, buy it.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Absolute Must Have!, 16 April 2006
This series is incredibly addictive. At the end of disc 5 you will feel deflated and depressed because there are not more episodes to enjoy, gnawing your fingers to the bone in expectation for the release of Season 2.
