5.0 out of 5 stars One hell of a horror, 4 Feb 2004
So everyone heard about the original wether thay had seen it or not, growing up i was led to believe it was one of the scariest film ever made, until i watched it. I must admit it must have been horrific (not scary) back in 1974, but here is the remake the film needed. With a few familiar faces (jessica biel, eric balfour) the film opens and already you can see the characters are different from the original. It's one hell of a scary film with bits that'll have you hididng and squirming and of course jumping. Also you actually get more than one scene with a chainsaw unlike the original. The story has been well thought out improving itself over the original and you don't have a long beginning with no action, the action is pretty much there from the start. I would recommend this film to any horror fans, people who want to be scared and anyone who has seen the original;. Then you tell me which was scarier.

5.0 out of 5 stars 28 days later, 6 April 2003
This review is from: 28 Days Later (2002) [DVD] (DVD)
i went to see this film thinking that it was an english horror so it won't be very good. HOW MUCH DO I TAKE THAT BACK.
I was jumping through the whole film and hiding behind my friend and i love horror films. The surround sound was god for the movie. There have been so many zombie films and although they were not zombies that was how i percieved them. This is such an original film with the more jumpier bits than a trampolining convention.
I went to see the film three times at the cinema and i cant wait for the release.
All i can say is if you have a scariest horror film watch this and i bet it'll beat it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Getting better, 11 Feb 2003
Buffys season 6 part 2
Doublemeat palace:
This was a good episode with buffy having to face getting a job.Bit of a twist which is good.
Dead Things:
This was a good episode, it was a bit weird but it all makes sense towards the end of the season.
Older and far away:
Buffy and the gang get stuck in the house with a demon and they think Dawn is the one to blame
As you were:
Riley's back, sadly not with a blast. This episode could have been better and a lot more emotional.
Hell's Bells:
This was a good story dealing with Anya's and Xander's wedding which Xander ulls out of. Due to a demon lying to Xander. Good episode with some good acting from Nicholas Brendon.
Normal Again:
This was such a good episode. It makes you think have the last six years been real. They could have ended the show on this episode. Some very good twists.
Entropy:
Anya's back with a vengeful spirit. She hurts Xander by sleeping with Spike. And ends up hurting him more than she intended. Alson gang find out Buffy is sleeping with Spike.
Seeing Red:
The trio use crystals to gain superhuman strength. I felt quite bored for this episode. Then the end made me cover my mouth with my hand when Buffy was shot and Tara killed by Warren. Also Willow gets scary.
Villians:
Finally an episode with the trio that is watchable. Willow is evil and after blood, the trio's blood. Some great visual effects and a gripping storyline. With Warren's gory death at the end.
Two to go:
After Warrens death Willow turns on Jonathan and Andrew. Buffy is up against Wilow and realises that Willow is too powerful for her. Giles kicks willows ass at end.
Grave:
Yet another superb episode. Willow drains Giles of his magic and sets off to destroy the world. Buffy and Dawn end up in a pit fighting together and Willow raises a church to end the world. Xander saves the day talking to Willow telling her that he loves her and about yellow crayons. Superb finale.

5.0 out of 5 stars buffy season 6, 11 Feb 2003
Bargaining part 1 & 2:
Tese first two episodes covered buffy being raised from the dead. Some good acting but the plot was a little thin and tiring. I expected more action for the opening of a season.
After life:
This was a good episode that dealt with issues of buffys ressurection. For buffy coming back something else arrives too.
Flooded:
Another tiring episode with the trio aka Jonathon warren and andrew. I found this episode aimed towrd little children.
Life serial:
Boring episode with the trio (noticing a pettern) a few laughs but not a gripping storyline.
All the way:
This was quite a good episode focusing more on Dawn and her life.
Once more with feeling:
Great episode, bringing lots off the gangs issues together with song and dance, excellently written and superbly acted and sung ecspecially Tara, Buffy, Anya and Giles
Tabula Rasa:
Good episode focusing on willows magic use, sadly Tara and willows breakup and superb song from Michelle Branch
Smashed:
Willow using the magic a bit to much brings back Amy from being a rat (took long enough).
Wrecked:
Willow and her addiction to magic gets more of an issue, although starting to drag out a little bit.
Gone:
boring episode, with the trio (see the pattern) buffys invisible and she has a bit of fun. (notice the song buffy whistles - going through the motions from Once more with feeling)

5.0 out of 5 stars Buffy series 6, 9 Feb 2003
i really enjoyed this. this series just keeps on giving. First we have buffy back from the dead and we have an all exclusive musical episode. Then you get part two of the series. Theres not a lot you can say without giving it away. It gets very dark. After this series you see willow in a new perspective she is not just the harmless girl that has been portrayed over the past six years. Buffy and dawn are developing their sister-sister relationship, xander and anya also have a few twists in this series. A very shocking episode is also included (Seeing Red). and it has a great finale leaving many possibilities for the next season.
