1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible Unit. Do not buy, 22 Jun. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I bought this unit because I thought it was a bit different and would fit in my conservatory perfectly. It arrived very promptly and was well packaged. On opening it first impressions were fine. However when I looked a bit closer I noticed that the wood was of very poor quality, chipped and bashed in places. I carried on though as I thought I could maybe cover the marks with some paint. However when I started to put it together it really went wrong. The screw fittings were such poor quality that they kept disintergrating when I turned them with my screwdriver. I could accept 1 or even 2 as being weak but when I got to the 3rd one breaking I gave up. There were no spares so I called Amazon to see if they could send me some more. They were very helpful but could only send me a replacement unit. This was delivered a few days later. I was hopeful that this unit would prove to be of better quality but was once again let down very badly. Very poor quality wood - it was as soft as balsa wood, screws that broke in the holes, sratches and scuffs on the wood and very difficult to put together. So to sum up I would say that this is a very cheap very poor product and is deifintely not worth buying. They have tried to copy something that Ikea would make but without the quality. DO NOT BUY

4.0 out of 5 stars Quite a good game, 13 Jun. 2011

Bought for my 9 year old. He quite enjoys playing it and doesn't seem put off by the fact there are problems to be solved to get the clues. The questions are a mix of levels but can get a bit repetitive but I suppose thats a good thing for younger children as it helps drive the ideas home. Its good that you can make the levels harder depending on ability. A bit annoying that you have to listen to the introduction each time you play but maybe we just haven't found the way to avoid this yet.
