5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant, 27 Jan 2014

Much better than the silly bit of material you get to clean your glasses. Also works well with monitors and camera lenses.
Very worthwhile purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good for the trainee pilot, 27 Jan 2014

Adds some weight to the quadcopter, so have shorter flights before it needs recharging. However, this has certainly reduced the rate at which I'm going through the blades. It won't protect them entirely, but well worth it whilst you're training.

Purchase either as a spare for the original cable, or to charge multiple batteries simultaneously. Not much more needs to be said. Works well.

Rogue Diffusion Panel for the Flashbender - Large
Rogue Diffusion Panel for the Flashbender - Large
Price: £14.95

5.0 out of 5 stars Improves light quality over flashbender alone, 9 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Attaches to the front of Rogue large Flashbender to help diffuse the light.
Images do seem to improve the softness of the light when used close to the subject (off-camera flash for example).

It's simple to attach to the flashbender, using small velcro attachments.
Unsurprisingly, it's extremely light, and a useful addition, if you're already using the flashbender.

Manfrotto 323 Quick Change Rectangular Plate Adaptor
Manfrotto 323 Quick Change Rectangular Plate Adaptor
Price: £23.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic solid Manfrotto adapter, 9 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Has about the same width as a credit card, and almost as long (including the release lever).
Wanted this for compatibility with the Black Rapid camera strap system (e.g Black Rapid RS-7 Camera Strap) using the fastener -Black Rapid FastenR-T1 for Use with Manfrotto RC2 Plates for Use with Manfrotto RC2 Plates.

It's well constructed and unlikely to move or fail with your camera attached.
Great purchase.

4.0 out of 5 stars Near Perfect - some fiddling needed on canon 580 EX flashes, 8 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a great and sturdy adapter to connect your flash securely to a 1/4" tripod-style mount.
While the bulk of the material is plastic, the tripod sockect is metal, and so shouldn't fail.
For most flashes it appears to attach solidly. For my Canon 580 ex II I needed to remove the rubber water-resistant ring inorder to get the locking mechanism to work.

Apart from that small gripe, this is a great simple and fairly cheap device to get your flash off-camera.

SanDisk 32GB Extreme SDHC 45MB/s Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card
SanDisk 32GB Extreme SDHC 45MB/s Class 10 UHS-I Memory Card
Price: £25.80

5.0 out of 5 stars Fast high quality card, 7 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Purchase after much research. I continue to use branded (usually SanDisk) products and have not yet been let down.
For use in Canon EOS-M for photo and video.

With Photos, I definitely hit the camera buffer and processing limit before the card's, and no problems recording HD video either.

Tested read and write speeds are ~ 42 MB/s and 45 MB/s respectively (Tested on Macbook pro's sd card reader).

Should satisfy anyone's consumer needs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best camera bag yet, 7 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I suspect like most amateur photographers, we are on a quest for that elusive perfect camera bag with near infinite capacity and anti-gravity pockets.
Until such a Tardis-like camera bag is invented, we are destined to dedicate hours of research and many bags to satisfy our cravings.

I selected this bag after many hours of researching and trying out of of bags, and am not disappointed.
My requirements were as follows: secure (Was for a trip to Rio); capacity for camera plus additional items; Tripod friendly; light (for travel restriction requirements).
Almost all my needs were fully met.

Security:
Firstly, it doesn't scream camera bag. Yes, there is a Lowepro logo on the back, but its shape and design are not the typical boxy bags.
Next, the zips for quick opening side pockets are hidden in the middle front of the back, behind the top flap and the inner bottom flap. There's also clasps over each pocket; so it's as secure as if there were no pockets at all on the side.
This does mean that it can take more time to get at you camera than the fastpack styles, but if you do want quick access you can position the zips and release the clasp in preparation.

Capacity:
It is just slightly smaller that I hoped for. Those who state you can fit two medium sized SLRs are probably correct, but it will be tight. My canon 50D and 17-55mm lens is a tight squeeze, with room for a flash and 10-22mm on the other side. Any else will have to go in the top section.
The ability to remove the separating piece between the bottom and top sections is inspired. Allows full use as a non-camera daypack.
It also means by some careful repositioning of this divider you can get a few more cm of clearance in the camera section.

Unzipping the top section does require a special knack. Once you get it though, it's fine, and this adds to the security of the bag.
The top compartment size is good for another small lens, other camera items and perhaps a snack.

Light:
It is surprisingly light for a camera bag, but then it doesn't contain so much (unnecessary?) padding - so don't throw it around.
it also collapses down completed and can be folded in on itself. This is great when flying, as this bag goes into the hold luggage, and you can use another bag (with your lenses protected) in the cabin.

Tripod:
The tripod holders are hidden out of the way until needed. I would not want to attach a big tripod to this; but as this bag is suited for travel / street / hikes, I don't think you'd want anything more than a travel tripod anyway.
There are also attachments on the base of the bag, for tripod (or waterproofs say). This is perfect when hiking, or needing to use the all-weather cover; but if walking in crowded areas I would use the vertical attachments.

Summary:
I would definitely recommend this bag. It has about the right capacity for the weight and number of items you would want to carry around all day. Most significantly for me, it has tripod attachments, an all-weather cover, dividing sections, and a high degree of security against pickpockets, while not standing out as a camera bag, but does allow quick access when needed.
It's also not so badly priced compared to its peers.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good budget router but setup more fiddly for advanced users, 7 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
When my ISP-supplied router started crashing I decided to replace it with something cheap, and robust.
Not looking for ultra-high performance all-singing-all-dancing, given the limitations of ADSL 2 broadband speeds.
This router is working great. Only once have I had to reset it.

For setup, there is a supplied cd, that promises to simplify the setup. I however went for the full manual approach.
Connect the router via an ethernet cable to your computer and go to the web page on 192.168.1.1
Setting up the basics is quite straightforward, for those who consider themselves tech-savy; but is more complex than other router.
Configuring the firewall is also more difficult that on my previous routers.

My main complaint about this router is that it doesn't appear to run a dns server; meaning I have to refer to all my devices using their IP addresses, rather than their hostname aliases.
Fortunately you can assign static IP addresses based on MAC addresses.
Apart from that, for the price there is little else to moan about.
