1.0 out of 5 stars Great when it works...., 24 Jan 2012
I ordered one of these photo frames because of the high specification and the favourable reviews. For the first week or so it was really good. It did exactly what the spec said it would and my wife and I were delighted. However, a white band then appeared at the bottom of the screen obscuring about a a quarter of each picture. We thought we were just unlucky and so we sent the item back to Amazon and they promptly refunded us.

While it was working properly the photo frame was excellent so we ordered another. Unfortunately it only worked for a couple of days and then became unreliable. It would stop at a picture during a slideshow. It was not always the same picture. It could be shortly after starting a slideshow, somewhere in the middle or near the end. This is very disappointing because when it works it is great. I am now returning the second photo frame and I will NOT be buying another from this company.

5.0 out of 5 stars The way forward with this excellent book, 21 Dec 2006
A wonderful book that stimulates the imagination.

This book assumes that the reader already has a reasonable level of familiarity and competence with XHTML and CSS. There are many other good books out there to help you learn syntax and gain basic technical knowledge. Its focus instead is on the creative design possibilities of CSS with an eye very much to the future. It is about the way forward rather than how we got to where we are and it shows us what is possible using current and emerging technologies when we strive for creativity and aesthetic excellence in web design. Not for nothing does the title include reference to 'The Fine Art Of Web Design'.

Highly recommended!!!
