1.0 out of 5 stars Nice Cover shame about the content..., 18 Sept. 2007
I was incredibly annoyed at having bought this after reading the reviews. This book does not live up to it's 5 stars. There is no doubt that the authors have done a lot of research but the same care and diligence was not put into making it a coherent let alone enjoyable read. This book is such a dissapointment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabtastic...., 3 May 2007
Ted Andrews does a great job in demystifying psychic protection. The first few chapters explains how protection is more about building your own energy health than of warding off 'lower energies and those pesky vampires'. He dedicates a section to debunking some of those great myths we have about ghosts, poletergeist and energy vampires and then wraps it all up with some interesting tips and techniques that help to build up your energy strenght. I especially like the tips about essential oils, they deviate from the usual ones I have come across.

I throughly enjoyed reading this, it has given the subject of 'protection' a friendlier image.

5.0 out of 5 stars It is as good as the previous review!, 20 May 2004
I bought this book after reading the previous review and I have to be honest this book is fantastic. Having just started a diploma in Zen Shiatsu this book not only offers clear photos illustrating the practioners body & hand position during the routine, it provides hand drawn illustrations indicating shiatsu point locations along muscles etc. This book is easy to read and understand and does a great job teaching you about anatomy and physiology. What is doesn't cover however is hara diagnosis and Kyo/Jitsu symptoms etc, instead it has a great section on treating specific pathological conditions diagrams and all. I would recommend this for all beginners in addition to S. Masunaga's 'Zen Shiatsu' & Chris jarmey's 'Complete Guide to Shiatsu'.
