1.0 out of 5 stars Very, very poor product, 25 Dec 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I cannot recommend this product at all, as it's just downright poor and that's coming from someone who if anything tends to over-praise things.
As I now note in previous reviews, the magnet feature that is supposed to turn on/off the Fire HD, simply doesn't work.
Some of the things you need to access, such as the charging socket are totally covered. That's simply unforgiveable in itself.
And then, it's just poor quality and doesn't stand up very well, in either direction.

I purchased this a christmas present as a replacement for a proper cover and seeing the missus' face when she tried it means I'm thoroughly dissappointed with this product.

I really should have known better at the price, but was led by the reviews on here, which for some strange reason are very positive.

The truth is this product isn't worth 50 pence, imo.

I've told the missus to throw it in the bin and I'll get her another one.

3.0 out of 5 stars Terrible to set up if not bought from an official resource, 2 Nov 2013
This could be a great piece of kit, if bought at the official price.
I really can't comment in that sense, but a friend of mine has just bought the same thing (albeit with a 500Gb HD and no Windows) for £169 on Ebay.
And I'm having a nightmare in setting it up, even though I really know what I'm doing.

An alternate version of Windows 7 will not install from the off.
Solution? Go into the Bios setup, go advanced, find the option to boot CSM, disable it, reboot, back to CSM, enable it and reboot.

Then you have no network driver and the supplied driver disc is useless, which I'm currently working on.

Summing up, it's very small and could be useful if you need to move your computer around frequently (which is what interests me).

Otherwise, who knows?
I might let you know when I've got it running properly.

My advice?
If you're really not clued up, buy this, as it'll probably just work fine.
If you are clued up and are looking to buy it on the cheap, be prepared for some major work.

Nice looking bit of kit, but it's Acer.
I'll give it 3.

Integral SDHC Class 10 Memory Card 16GB
Integral SDHC Class 10 Memory Card 16GB

4.0 out of 5 stars Perfectly good card, 11 Mar 2012
We purchased this for my wife's Olmypus pen camera. I'm not exactly sure how fast it is, but it works fine with 1080 HD video, which is the most that we'll ask of it. So it basically does what it says on the tin and is very good value. Recommended.

3.0 out of 5 stars Decent when it works, but freezes often., 13 Dec 2011
As in the title, it's decent when it works.
But it freezes pretty much every day.
Which means a reboot.

Edit;
Just gone to change channel and it's frozen again.
Very tempted to drop it to two stars now :-(

2.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly poor support, 13 Dec 2011
Well, I haven't got round to actually using this after nearly 2 months, because I don't know how to connect it.
I purchased it to power a subwoofer in bridged mode.
But there is no information that tells me how to wire it up, as they haven't even written a manual for it yet.

I've no doubt it's a decent piece of kit for the money, but what use is it, if you don't know how to connect it up?

Very poor and I quite simply expect better from Behringer.

2.0 out of 5 stars Little use, now dead., 24 Jan 2010
I only bought this because of it's ability to passthrough the Scart output of my VM cable box to the VGA input of my projector (via component).
Hence I've never used it to record anything, so can't comment on that side of things.
It's had some use as a DVD player, but not what I'd call a lot.
It now won't read any discs whatsoever.

I think it's actually the first Samsung product I've ever purchased.
And on this showing, it'll probably be the last.
Very poor and highly disappointing.

I scored it 2 stars, because it looks nice and actually did what i wanted it to do, quite well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Massive improvement, highly recommended., 29 Aug 2009
Got this today and it appears it's a madcatz cable, according to the invoice and it indeed has Joytech stamped on it.
Not sure if it's mentioned in the description, but just for info, it's about 2 metres long.

I hooked it up and changed the resolution to 480P via the settings.
The difference is massive on my Panasonic 50PZ70.
Games are much sharper and the internet channel is crystal clear whereas it was practically unreadable before.

A massive improvement and for the price, an absolute no brainer.
Highly recommended!
