The Seven Basic Plots by Christopher Booker is wonderfully well written and researched. It deserves to be up there on the shelf next to The Writer's Journey by Christopher Vogler, another classic for writers.
Wonderfully well written book about an Andalucia now passing away with epic trips on horseback across remote terrain. The author lived there for many years and spoke fluent Spanish. So the accounts are authentic as well as colourful. If you like 'real' Spain as opposed to Costa and chips this is for you.
