4.0 out of 5 stars Very Insightful, 5 Oct 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Really enjoyed the book, insightful; certain chapters weren't as interesting to me as others. The question & answer style of interviews worked well for getting many sides of the same story.

Price: £9.21

4.0 out of 5 stars Sophisticated Metal, 11 May 2005
This review is from: Apocalyptica (Audio CD)
I first heard of Apocalyptica at a Rammstein concert, Apocalyptica were the support act; these two great rock groups certainly know there stuff, both are AMAZING live.
The morning after the concert i went and bought every apocalyptica album i could find in HMV and Vigin Megastore.
This album is the best, but not by much.
Life Burns, Quutamo and Fisheye are the outstanding tracks.

5.0 out of 5 stars Indy-structable, 16 July 2004
If you're viewing this product you already know it's technical specs; so i'll get to the more practical review.
Being an active person, i like a walkman that is strong enough to withstand a slight nudge now and again. This can withstand being kicked 80yds (all though it was grass, but still) while wearing a pair of football boots, and then rolling a further 20 metres or so. When i picked this amazing unit up, it was still playing (although the headphones had came unplugged because they were sowen into my top. The unit had no visible damage dont even a grass stain, this was 2 months ago now and its still working, and it's still amazing me!

2.0 out of 5 stars Erm......., 16 Feb 2004
When i got the remote i thought wow i can rule my household with one 10inch long tazer, but then i remembered it was a remote.....
The codes in the manual are of no use whatsoever, most electrical appliances in my home are Sony, cause lets face it, Sony rule!!! and my MD Hifi wasn't going to accept anything this remote was going to transmit at it apart from volume up! I have a Philips surround system plugged into my £1500 Hifi and the speakers are the best thing i bought after my NetMD (Sony again) so i thought the tazer would have no trouble getting to grips with one of its own kind. I WAS MISTAKEN!!!!

This review is from: Sonic Heroes (Xbox) (Video Game)
Sonic Heros is a good game but give me sonic adventure on dreamcast anyday (But with an adapter for a xbox controller) over this, if anything the graphics are tha same on both games on both consoles; this should never be!
Seeing as the game is called SONIC Heros dont you think it would be better to make sonic the best/better character in the game. Knuckles is good on this game but better on the SA on dreamcast. Yes its nice to have a bit of variety in gameplay but just stick to one at a time instead of changing between the 3 every 8 seconds. if there going to make moves for characters and state the buttons i wish sega would make the seq. of buttons work instead of just doing the same thing no matter what you do!
When you first play this game you'll think 'wow bloody amazing, well done sega' but after 2 hrs of gameplay you'll be saying 'Goddam You sega, dont change things!!!!' just like they did for worms 3d!!!!!!!!!
