3.0 out of 5 stars WM 25 Be Wary, 28 Dec 2009
Be careful if considering buying this dvd as it is one of the poorest in the last 5 years. It suffers from some poor storylines and wrestlers who are just not up to scratch however it does contain one of the best matches ever in WM history.

Money In the Bank Ladder Match
(CM Punk,Christian,Kofi Kingston,MVP,Kane,Finlay,Shelton Benjamin,Mark Henry)
This match had a lot to live up to as WM 24 MITB almost matched the first match at WM21 however it fell kinda flat, it suffered from 2 wasted places in Henry and Kane who should never be in a ladder match at Wrestlemania. Some good spots and interesting set-ups but ending was poor. All in all barring one match you'd be best hjust buying Backlash 2009, similar but better card and main events were what these matches should have been like.

Diva Battle Royal
Why this was in the event and not the tag team unification match i dont know. Boring, unexciting and no interest mainly due to the fact the divas came down during a Kid Rock performance so you have no idea who is in it until they are eliminated. Would have been good had they made a deal about Torrie and Molly coming back and the ending sets up a ridiculous feud.

Jericho vs the Legends
Not a great match but Jericho looks good throughout in his heel turn but performance of the match goes to Ricky the Dragon Steamboat who puts in tremendous effort for his age. The Backlash match between these 2 is excellent so watch that as well or instead of this.

Jeff Hardy vs Matt Hardy
A good extreme rules match, Jeff as usual pulls off some ridiculous ladder spots with massive ladders and the ending is good but brutal. This match would have been better had we not seen it before and it was a cop-out feud to get the title off Jeff at Royal Rumble.

Rey Mysterio vs JBL
Match lasts 21 seconds then a big announcement, predictable, silly and all rather pointless in the end.

Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
Not many other WM matches can match this in my view, fantastic match from 2 of the best WM performers, it was no wonder after this they both took 4 months off. Just a spectacular match good close calls and the end-of-the-streak hype added intensity to the match. Brilliant, only at WM.

John Cena, Edge, Big Show
Boring, regurgitated feud and not suprisingly a poor match. Edge does his best but cannot carry both Big Show and Cena who are well past their peaks but continue to get big time slots. Usual stuff here and unimaginative ending.
Get Cena away from title matches and stop giving Big Show so much high profile matches.

Triple H vs Orton.
Fantastic build-up before this match and although it was a feud we have seen numerous times it had potential. However WWE bottled it and gave us a watered down main event that was hardly worth sticking around for which lets down the performers because they are both excellent. Not even any interference which leaves the match slow and uninteresting.

Overall don't buy this unless you really enjoyed WM23 which is as poor a PPV as this. The Backlash the month after is a similar card, much better results and matches and is really what should have happened at WM. 2 or 3 good matches on here but not enough to pay almost 20 for i feel. 2 to 3 stars out of 5 for this at a push.
