Lots of good info in here. I like the way the book is arranged into different sections you can flick through it has all sorts of stuff that big fans of the band will not know about. pretty much covers every subject to some degree. cool pictures also.

Robert Bloch is a total genius of the short story, i have a few collections of his short stories (most of them are falling apart they are so old) and really cherish them as they are so hard to get hold of these days. Very little of his fiction seems to be in print. He wrote a mixture of crime, sci-fi, and horror short stories at the peak of the pulp era and was apparently close friend of H.P Lovecraft. The horror is often tongue in cheek whereas the crime/sci-fi tended to be more moral type fables. Highly recommended

Forget Anne Rice, this is possibly the greatest vampire novel ever written (along with Dracula and Salem's Lot). Don't let the lurid, pulpy cover put you off.

Enjoyable, well-written, sci-fi yarn. Not sure it quite lives up to its reputation as a 'masterwork'
