5.0 out of 5 stars Another Winner, 17 Nov 2006
This review is from: Born In Death: 23 (Hardcover)
WOW A Great Book,

Another winner for Nora Roberts/JD Robb with her futuristic series set in New York City, 2060.

Eve Dallas has got a double homicide to solve ~ two young lovers ~ who work for the same prestigious accounting firm ~ killed on the same night. And it looks as if it could be work related.

Plus Eve & Roarke have now got to go to birthing classes with Mavis so they will know what to do when its time for the baby to arrive. This was so funny that i couldn't help but laugh, Eve who is a homicide lieutenant and faces death, murder and getting shot at without a blink and Roarke a self made billionaire, just about fall to pieces whenever they have to think about the baby or the birth.

Then when Eve throw's a baby shower for Mavis, one of her friends doesn't show up and they find out nobody has seen her for a few days, Mavis asks Eve for a favour: please find her before something bad happens to her or her baby.

So now Eve has got her plate full, a double homicide, a missing pregnant woman, and Mavis due to give birth at any time.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book. one of the best i've read., 16 Feb 2005
i like time-travel books and i just got this for that reason. and i am glad i did. a hero that isnt perfect and throws the heroine in the pit at first meeting, well take into account she has traveled threw time lands in fourteenth century scotland and the first person she see's thinks she's a witch. he soon changes his mind and agree's after awhile to help her get back to her own time. but it isnt as easy as that. this book is well worth its price. just glad amazon had it, havnt seen it in shops here.

i love dara joy books, and this one is no diffrent. Zantia and Tyber are back again for more ghoust hunts and difficult problems. it dos'nt matter if you havnt read high enegy, this book stands on its own. but if you want to find out how they met then high energy is the book for you. zantia is not your typical heroine, she is zany and funny and gets into alsorts of trouble if left to herself, that's where tyber comes in, he acts as if he is helping her, but really he is keeping an eye on her and it takes alot to keep to keep her safe. if you want a book thats interesting and fuuny this is the book for you.

this book is just as good as the other Dark books. its just different. we meet two new carpathians. two brothers and a lady who thinks she is a vampire. its a great story, but Destiny had a hellish childhood, and thinks the voice she hears in her head are from a vampire, she do'snt trust anybody, and trys to stay away from the people in the town. but she is drawn back to the church again and again, but do'snt go in because she thinks she's evil. well worth a read.

I would love to meet a family like this. Rafe is into construction and has bought a haunted house, he is going to turn it into a Hotel. Some spookey moments and then he meets Sydney an,antique's dealer. Match made in haunted house. Jared is the stuffy lawyer type, but has met his match when the house he wanted was bought by a free spirit and her son. The sparks fly when they meet.
