Food made good, 31 May 2011
After much waiting to find this book i eventually ordered it from the USA.
It starts off with an easy to read breakdown of what will be covered in the book and follows the same trend throughout.
Bite size chunks of information getting the essentials of the subject across with ease.
The depth that the authors go into for athletes (combat athletes specifically) is a nice change.
Help with cutting weight, day before and same day weigh-ins, replenishing your body and most importantly the why's, what's and when's.
I recommend this book for anyone who follows the same old sauna/steam room trend, trying to kill themselves to make weight before any sport event. This book is basically your coach for food! A tiny few things could be updated, but there hasn't been a revised edition yet, so no worries.
Get this book as soon as you can, it will open your eyes to the myths and stereotypes that go with nutrition.
