5.0 out of 5 stars Happy Christmas Knitting, 28 Jan 2012
This was a Christmas present to myself, and I made a couple of the balls just to test the basic pattern. Very easy to follow, and I look forward to making more in the Autumn.

Imazighen: Vanishing Traditions of Berber Women
by Margaret Courtney-Clarke
Edition: Hardcover

5.0 out of 5 stars Imazighen, 18 July 2011
This is a stunning book about the craft work and lives of Berber women in parts of North Africa. The text is very informative, and the photographs are stunning.

3.0 out of 5 stars Zarzuelas (Domingo), 19 Mar 2010
This review is from: Zarzuelas (Domingo) (Audio CD)
This is a very nicely-produced album, with a selection of songs from the Spanish Zarzuela folk opera genre, all beautifully sung by Placido Domingo, whose parents were professional singers and teachers of this style both in Spain and then in Mexico. Sadly, my copy does not have a single composer credit, for which I would give it a big minus if I could.

Quilters Playtime: Games with Fabrics
Quilters Playtime: Games with Fabrics
by Dianne S. Hire
Edition: Paperback
Price: 14.86

5.0 out of 5 stars A real playtime for quilters, 19 Mar 2010
This is the most wonderfully colourful and inspirational publication. For anyone who has a basic grasp of piecing methods and a love of colour and texture, it is an excellent book for moving on from the basics and becoming more adventurous in design and use of materials.

5.0 out of 5 stars iPod Charging, 6 April 2009
This was an excellent, simple, piece of equipment for charging my iPod direct from the electric rather than hanging around waiting for the computer to do it. No extra bits and pieces, but then I didn't need them.
