I was already a fan of The Vegan Table: 200 Unforgettable Recipes for Entertaining Every Guest for Every Occasion
and The Joy of Vegan Baking: The Compassionate Cooks' Traditional Treats and Sinful Sweets
but I think this book has to be my new favourite cook book. Whether or not you are interested in the health claims, the recipes are easy to follow and straightforward to prepare and I have enjoyed everything that I have tried so far. The dishes are simple enough to prepare as a quick meal but also attractive and tasty enough to serve to dinner guests. The book itself is a riot of colour and is a pleasure just to browse through to read the informative writing and drool over the mouthwatering photographs! There is an alphabetic index as well as a chapter-by-chapter list so it is easy to find recipes and I have found the colour-based chapters helpful; if I want to refer back to a recipe and I know which colour section it is in, the ends of the pages are coloured so it is easy to flick quickly to that section. Highly recommended.
