5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!!, 31 Aug. 2010
This review is from: God doesn't do waste (Paperback)
I bought this thinking to have something to read for the summer. It took two evenings to read because it was so compelling. A story of how God uses ordinary people in an extraordinary way. I got to the end of a chapter and then wanted to find out what happened next. I have now bought five copies to give to friends but now need another book for the rest of the summer

1.0 out of 5 stars Expected bias, 5 Oct. 2008
Having watched this on Channel 4 I discovered very quickly who was funding the production. It was good television, but then so is Homer Simpson. For me this did not make up for the poor science, and the way he obviously looks at things through oil coloured glasses. I wondered who was doing the swindling

5.0 out of 5 stars I Dare, 5 Oct. 2008
I have read tis book at least twice. The first time was very quick because I could not put it down. The second not only to think about what I had just read but also trying to put them into practice. This is not just an easy to comprehend book, but also offers suggestions on how to put the principles into practice. I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who seeks to put care for creation into their lifestyle

5.0 out of 5 stars Bill Oddie's Introduction to Bird Watching, 20 May 2002
Everything you need to know about the subject, especially if you are new to the activity. Written in an understandable style, even when using "birder" words like leucistic etc. Bill combines experience with common sense so that anyone can get enthused about birds.Well illustrated both with photographs and illustrations. Bill also has a chapter on the use of the internet to learn even more. This book is an absolute gem.
