5.0 out of 5 stars Bon jovi the circle., 1 Nov. 2009
This review is from: The Circle (Deluxe) (Audio CD)
Wow a few bon jovi we loved em in the 80's but cant be arsed with them now haters. To the gentlemen who said they was a household name????? he he he theyve never been a household band, never there a fan band that the critics love to hate thats carried on because the fans wanted, they bought the albums they paid and turned up for the gigs to make them the massive band they are. To the guy who said born to follow was the best if you read some critics opinions its the weakest track on the album because unlike lost highway, nice day, bounce and crush this album shows plenty of bon jovi trying new things and pushing things in a different direction. Hey i recently watched nickleback they was fantastic but there was some great support from a band ive never heard of, Black stone cherry. They was bloody awesome and im slowly getting into them and giving them my time but anybody wishing to listen to the bon jovi of the 80's, that aint gonna happen because bands change with the trends and thats how bon jovi have kept up with everyone else over the past 17 Years. Trouble is everybody cant be pleased and while everybody on here entitled to there opinion im gonna say that if you have ever liked a tune from bon jovi over the years please give this album a listen to and make your own minds up. Myself will be buying it "the circle" first thing monday morning. The tickets for o2 arena are a fricken rip off which is very disapointing and for the price alone i wont be goin but deep down im gonna miss not hearing this album live.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a return to form., 29 Oct. 2009
This review is from: The Circle (Audio CD)
Ive heard the leaked album myself but will be buying this album on day of release. The first single seems to be getting mixed reviews at the minute but i quite like it. Maybe coz im glad its not a ballad or country inspired but glad its back to what bon jovi do best, great rock songs that by the chorus just uplift you. I know that isn't going to be enough for some bon jovi fans, especially after lost highway which split bon jovi fans opinion down the line but please if you ever liked any album or tune they ever did then give this album a listen. Its there best work since these days without a doubt. The problem i have with bon jovi is i think there piss poor at choosing the singles off there albums of late, if done correctly then people would get to hear something other than a ballad or one of the weaker mid tempo songs, i just think fans from years ago think there just to commercial or have gone soft. The circle is epic, in my opinion Sambora and torres shine on this album so much and in my opinion when Sambora is on form so are bon jovi. Songs like bullet, superman tonight, broken promiseland, happy now are different just like some of "these days" tracks were compared to other albums. The ballads are amazing when we ere beautiful is just magnificant, torres drumwork and jon's vocals and lyrics are amazing. Work for the working man is just a great steady rocker that just grabs you with the bass line at the start (bit like prayer), its jons take on the plight of the world right now. All in all every track is worthy of your time but please if you werent sure about "born to follow" dont let it put you off the best bon jovi album in over a decade.

5.0 out of 5 stars what you waiting for, 8 Sept. 2005
Bon jovi are a band that have been through a hell of a lot over the last 20 years. They have sold over a hundred million albums but sadly its not fashionable to like them anymore. Ive watched them live 5 times and just by seeing this dvd of there live gig in 1995 at wembley stadium you will understand why me and thousands of other fans of all ages continue to do so. Its only recorded in dolby digital 2ch which is a shame but just watching this you cant but understand the reason why they still sell stadium's out all over the world. Jon bon jovi controls a crowd nearly as good as freddy mercury did and thats a huge compliment by anyones standards. They played wembley friday, saturday and sunday and all was sold out and you will know why by purchasing this dvd. The band are amazing and the crowd are up for it too. Ive seen oasis, bryan adams, the darkness and though they was brilliant they aint nowhere near the class of bon jovi. Just buy iy and enjoy im sure you will love it.
