5.0 out of 5 stars Really good book that is easy to follow, 24 Jun. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Step by step and clear examples. I was worried this might be too complicated however it really does guide you through each step. You can jump to different parts without effecting your progress and this I have done. If you think you know the basics then this will show that there are even more basics to know and use. There are also the more difficult tasks which you would just middle through without this book to guide you. I really do recommend this even for just the basic knowledge tasks.

4.0 out of 5 stars Top book for all maintenance needs., 24 Jun. 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Really good and clear book covering all the subjects across all makes and types of bike. Good for both adults' and children's bikes and clear enough to get them started young on their own basic maintenance. Some of the photos have a bit of a cluttered background so can be difficult to make out; however, it gives you an idea to do basic maintenance. I took some time looking over all of the books and found that this was better than most but not as good as Zen's. But you will only want Zen's if you really know your stuff anyway, in my opinion!

1.0 out of 5 stars Fluval 206 Leak issue, 19 Feb. 2013
I got this a year ago and like most other people I was really impressed...however: It then started to leak - just out of warantee! I found that it's the large O-ring and that this is an issue with them. There are many reviews where this is a problem after just 10 months. I can't inderstand why an external filter doesn't have a better seal system as you'd expect. You don't want water leaking out onto your base and than carpet or floor, remembering that this is dirty water that's leaking onto your carpet. Lucky mine is a stone floor so no big issue however that's not the point.
I notice that a few other web reviews suggest other filter brands. It's a shame as it does work really well and is easy to clean, however the leaking is a major issue, until there's a newer model I'd avoid!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Great photo frame, 17 May 2010
Got this for a present but was dissapointed by all the stickers over it. Had to use nail polish remover to get the sticky stuff off. This didn't do any damage but was annoying. the frame itself is really good and performs well in all light conditions. Only problem is that it would be nice if it had some sort of battery so you could move it about if you wanted without the lead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent family tent for a great price, 17 May 2010
Well first thing was the speedy delivery the next morning! Then there's the tent which is really easy to put up. In a slight wind I had this tent up and the inners in within 35 mins! Because the outer pitches first this is great if it was raining on the day you go to pitch this - as it does in England!
I think the size is good enough for 4 or 5 but 6 may be a squeeze. Standing room is plenty for someone 6ft+. Would like to have seen full zips that go around the bottom of the doors as these don't colse at the base. The windows are fab with a roller shut design not zips which is good and the hole for a cooling fan and small holes for cables to be passed through is another great idea.
A really good tent that erects with minimum fuss, looks good and will give good weather protection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent protection for the Desire Phone, 17 May 2010
I am always weary about phone covers as they can be too bulky or look and feel cheap, but no such worries with this. First it is a good quality case which fits the phone. This does not add too much to the overall dimentions of the product. Second is that it's strong enough to protect the phone without adding weight. I really like the pull cord to assist in getting the phone out of the pouch but this could have been off-set so it wasn't in line with the main magnetic clip. The company supplied it in really good time - the next day - so can't argue with that. I really recommend this for your HTC phone.

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent basic guide, 4 Mar. 2010
I was looking for a guide to help me move up from a 10 ltr tank to a 110 ltr tank and this helped a great deal.
It informs you on all that you need to know about the set up and more importantly the problems with water quality and how to rectify them. A few other titles tell you about ammonia etc, but not how to deal with it where this does.
I like the chapters on the different types of fish but this is why it's not a 5 star as I think it could be bigger. I know there's thousands of fish to choose from and to cover them would be ridiculous, but a few more pages would have been nice.
It does cover marine aquariums, which is a specialised subject - right to touch on it as all the kids want a 'Nimo' but they won't last long in the wrong conditions. However, as it's such a special and difficult subject then maybe out of the scope for this title to cover it in as much detail.
Well presented and easy to follow, a really great start up or mid level guide.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great TV at a great price, 31 Jan. 2010
I have a LG 19inch LCD and it is a really good TV but a bit slow to respond to the remote control input. No such problems with this one as it instantly responds to the commands. A great picture, really clear and bright in a well lit kitchen. My LG has 8000 contrast rating - not too sure what this one is but it preforms just as well.
It's placed over a large fish tank with filters and air pumps running in a large kitchen with loads going on and with noisy kids. With all this the volume is only up to 25 on the scale!
The design is really pleasing and sleak. I am not going to use all of the game/video slots but there are a good selection if I was to.
One downside is like all LCD TV's of this size it the length of the power cable. These TV's look great mounted on the wall but the lead needs to be at least 2m to reach a lower socket with ease.
Overall a great 19 inch LCD which I would strongly recommend to anyone who has a bright, noisy environment.

1.0 out of 5 stars TomTom XL v2, 1 April 2009
It's a shame that the thing that lets this down so much is the memory. The previous version had a memory card slot which you could load extra maps on (I use mine in USA & Europe a great deal). This one does not have a memory card slot and only enough memory for one map. So, if you use different maps this product is not much use. Shame they don't mention this on the info! Now you have to deleat the europe map, load the USA map then the reverse on your return, why did they get rid of the card slot?
