4.0 out of 5 stars Product amazing Toshiba not so much, 29 May 2009
Ok so first things first. The product is brilliant I can't fault it. Superb in fact. No over heating, good size, just an all round good product. It arrived very quickly and packed to perfection, so I was also over the moon about that. My only complaint is with Toshiba. When the product arrived it had clearly never been opened so when I opened it and noticed the warranty sticker on the back was broken I e-mailed Toshiba to see what could be done about it. First the took a ridiculous amount of time in responding to me and then they said there was nothing they could do. Their website is impossible to navigate and waiting about a month for a response is ludicrous. There is nothing wrong with my hard drive just I would like to have the little piece of mind that comes with a warranty. So just be ware that the product id brilliant but the company is terrible.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Truly Compelling And Beautiful Piece Of Work, 28 April 2008
I watched this becasue a friend recommened it to me, at first I didnt't think it was going to be good, but lets just say I couldn't stop watching it and finished the entire series in a day! It is just amazing, people who love anime will see its true beauty, its strength of character and one of the most emotional stories ever. People who aren't fans will love it for the exact same reasons. The show plunges you into the action right from the start and from then on its a rollercoaster ride through the 13 episodes.

It has definately earned its five stars. Get watching it now, truly breath taking work.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well Done, 2 Jun 2005
This review is from: Live Bait (Paperback)
WHo ever said sequals are never as good as the original obviously has never read Live Bait. It was a glorious read that I truly enjoyed. It has everything a great book should contain. It is what the crime genre needs. Every one should read this. This mother daughter writing combo work amazingly well and I hope the last three books are just as good as the first two.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is so cool, 17 Mar 2004
This review is from: Cats Don't Dance (Audio CD)
Many soundtracks to many animated films are bland and boring but this one is a toe tapping upbeat wonderful album. There is no song i can fault,. I do recommend Big and Loud as they are the best and are so much fun to listen to. I would even recommend you to watch the movie as it is just as good. So even if you haven't seen the movie yet you should still buy this magnificent soundtrack.

5.0 out of 5 stars What a good book., 17 Aug 2003
In Trilogys the third book is usually the worst but Pullman manages to turn that upside down.
This is the final book in the fantastic Sally Lockhart trilogy, the plot grips you and keeps you guessing what will happen up to the final page. All the characters are well written and it's easy to get caught up in this whirlwind adventure a brilliant end to a brilliant trilogy with enough twists to keep you on the edge of your seat. It contains all the mystery of The Ruby In The Smoke and all the suspense of The Shadow In The North it has everything you would expect in a Pullman book, a must have on all bookshelves.
Don't worry if you are a fan of the Sally Lockhart trilogy there is a spin off book from them containing afew familiar characters and afew new ones The Tin Princess is the final mystery to solve just as good as this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pulllman Pulls it off again, 16 Aug 2003
Philip Pullman has managed to capture readers imagination through his fantastic works and this book is no exception. It has everything a reader could ever want great characters a gripping plot and delightful twists. After I read The Tiger In The Well I thought Pullman would never be able to top it but i was very wrong because once i started reading The Tin Princess I didn't want to stop. I would recommened reading The Ruby In The Smoke, The Shadow In The North and The Tiger In The Well first as they make up the Sally Lockhart Trilogy (They are all great) The Tin Princess is a spinoff from them so it would do well to check them out as well. Any one who is unsure wether or not to buy this book should buy it as it has something for every reader.
