Very enjoyable., 21 Jun. 2011
I read Dave Nevison's first book and was left wanting more of the same. This is mainly what I got with this. Other reviewers say they didn't learn anything from it - well I did. His thoughts about Betfair and how it's going were very interesting. But more than anything I like being in the mind of a pro. gambler like Nevison. How he takes the ups and downs and his almost suicidal (betting wise) pursuit of the Jackpots and Scoops which make him come out an overall loser in the end.
If other reviewers thought there was no humour in it what about one of his wenches ordering her steak 'fanny pink', the book is full of amusing asides. I thoroughly enjoyed it and look forward to the next one.
