1.0 out of 5 stars The magnet is Too strong and could rip the connector off the phone after repeated uses., 25 July 2015

There is a reason why Sony doesn't include a magnetic charger with such a strong magnet in their official product. That's because the strong magnet could rip the whole magnetic connector off when detached repeatedly! The connector is not securely glued onto the phone body (this is a design flaw with the xperia z3, just Google it on the xda forum) so if you repeatedly pull this charger with its strong margnet on and off, there will come a day when the whole magnetic connector will be pulled out. It won't happen immediately so a lot of people gave this product a high review based on first impression. In my case, this happens after several months of using the product. My recommendation is to avoid using it unless you fancy a gap in your waterproof phone and having to send the phone back to Sony for repair.

5.0 out of 5 stars and the phone just slides in so easily. I can even do it in darkness, 11 Mar. 2015

Don't bother with overpriced Sony dock or one of those cheap magnetic cables. This is the dock charger that you want for the Xperia z3. I've been using this for several months now, and the phone just slides in so easily. I can even do it in darkness. If you have the z3, you need to get this or risk having the flap cover comes loose.

Solid metallic case. I'm using it for the phone right now. Definitely gives my aging Note 2 a more premium feeling.

4.0 out of 5 stars A good introduction to start, 26 Aug. 2012

I used this book in the master's level class taught by one of the authors, here at the University of Glasgow. For such a thin book, it covers quite a lot of ground in the basics of machine learning. Note that this book is more suitable for people who're interested in the underlying theory of ML, and probably less suitable for practitioner programmers. In any case, if you want to read something accessible to introduce you to the field, get this !

4.0 out of 5 stars An enjoyable read, 19 Mar. 2011
I'm a native indonesian, although I've lived overseas for half of my life. This book is an enjoyable read of an expat's adventure in indonesia with a particular focus on the author's life and travels around java and occasionally bali. Actually the majority of the book focuses on places around the java island. THe book is special because the author actually lived there for a period of time teaching english, not just doing a whirlwind tour across the country like many other travel books.

The writing could be rather awkward at times, making you realize that the author is not a professional writer. Out of the clumsiness comes a sense of sincerity however and reading the book would make you want to visit the country and share in the friendships and experiences that the author had forged throughout her journeys. My main criticism would come from the fact that the book sub-title is "Travel in Indonesia", while it could aptly been called "Travel in Java & a Small Part of Bali" instead ! Where's Sumatra ? Where's Kalimantan ? Sulawesi ? Papua ? However, if you read the book with this expectation in mind, you wouldn't be disappointed. Overall, quite a good read .. and the low price helps to as an impulse buying.
