3.0 out of 5 stars nicely made and the safety strap attachment is reassuring - ..., 22 July 2015
nicely made and the safety strap attachment is reassuring - however be careful if you are wearing this with binoculars or backpack. Unlike the Black Rapid type system on this design the strap moves with the camera. As you move the camera to the eye the strap moves across the body so can get snagged on anything else you are carrying. If you don't carry anything else on your neck or shoulders it's great.

Bought to go with a Internet switch box and works great. We use it for LoveFilm and iPlayer with no problems

Works great. We have the TP-link 'plugs' that bring the Internet through the house wiring and use this to 'split' the signal into two devices. In the past we had to swap cables but not any more. Cheap and simple and works a charm.

2.0 out of 5 stars shame on the publisher, 29 Sept. 2012
The original version of this book was a large A4 + size publication. In it were examples of signs and panels broken down into their respective parts to show how they had taken on the aspects of what makes something interpretive as opposed to information. All good. This new version and Vol 2 are about half the size but all the publisher has done is shrink the diagrams so they are now unreadable. From what I can see it is just a reprint of the original as well. For the price I would have expected a lot more of the publisher.

4.0 out of 5 stars The best bedside clock for visually impaired...probably, 15 May 2009
Bought this for my aging father whos eyesight is ok with glasses but poor without - so as a bedside clock he finds it perfect and its the largest display I could find. Be aware too that this is good contrast and permanently lit - some large display clocks have grey numbers on a clear background and are hard to see and others you have to press a button to illuminate the display.

If you want a clock designed to be easy to see by someone with poor eyesight this is as good as I could find. The alarms also look very good too. These have not been needed but look as though they could wake half the street.

I should also say that shortly after purchase the display developed a fault. It was of course just outside the 30 days return period. Amazon were fantastic in their customer care and replaced the clock immediately.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good simple advice, 15 May 2009
A great coming together of up to date advice on the factors contributing to a good day out. Bringing together advice on brand, the work of Pine & Gilmore re Experience Economy and interpretation plus customer care and all those other bits of stuff a visitor centre needs to be good at. If you run a visitor centre you need to know this stuff and act on it.

1.0 out of 5 stars huge dissapointment, 25 April 2008
you would imagine that a book on a camera wriiten by a photographer would have useful stuff about how the photographer uses the camera - but no. If you have the manual then the first half of the book is just a re-edited version, albeit slightly easier to read but offering no more value at all. the rest has some nice pics from Ross but no great insights into how he got the best out of the camera. in short a waste of money and hugely dissapointing and dare I say it rather insulting. I suspect there are few people who have bought a D200 as their first step in photography yet this is the tone throughout. As suggested, get Ken Rockwell for free or spend a similar amount on Thom Hogan's e book.
