Been sometime since I played crib. Have been looking for a game for a while and am I glad I found this one. Minor quibble is it counts up for you, part of the skill of cribbage is making sure you know how to work out all the scoring combinations. That aside, while it won't help beginners it's a great game for those in the know.

This is an ok game for a freebie, if I had paid for it I would have been disappointed. It has cute graphics, but nothing to get excited about. It just more of the same on each round. If you like angry birds you will like this, but most folk should just bypass this.

Rope Enough (The Romney and Marsh Files Book 1)

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent read, 12 Nov 2013

Really enjoyed this book, which is the first in a series. I have to admit the characters names attracted me. Who can resist a team called Romney marsh. If I have any criticism it would be that it all ends too neatly, but it's only a minor criticism and didn't deride the book at all. I will certainly be reading the rest in the series.

This is a cracking or should that be splashing little game. Not too hard to understand the mechanics, just hard enough to keep you coming back for one more go. And as cute as a basket full of puppies.

Ceremony (A Spenser Mystery)
Ceremony (A Spenser Mystery)
Price: £3.96

4.0 out of 5 stars Great story, 20 Oct 2013

This is the first Spenser story I have read, but it won't be the last. The dialogue is set firmly in the 1970s and at times is a little starskey and hutch but that's no bad thing.
If your after involved plots and multiple plot lines this isn't for you. If your after a simple and fun read then this is. Look great literature it ain't, a great read it is.
Now which one shall I choose next?

A simple tap the screen game that is repetitive and not much fun. Maybe o.k. for the very young but for everyone else don't bother. It really could have been much better.

Having just got into c.j.boxes books via Joe Pickett I thought I would give another character a try. All I can say is WOW!!!
As stories go this one ranks up there with lee child's, Stephen king and others. It cracks along at a pace that will leave some readers breathless. Tightly plotted, not a single word wasted and evil characters that will send a shiver down your spine.
There are plot twists that you will not see coming, and the book is all the better for springing surprises on you. I don't want to give anything away, so no spoilers or plotline hints. Deserves to be recognised as a crime/thriller master. More please.

Book 2 in the Joe Pickett series, and better than the first by a country mile. If you like your thrills up to date and quick and easy these are for you. Now on to number 3 and I am hunting for more by C.J.Box.
