5.0 out of 5 stars The Greatest Event In Sports-Entertainment, 7 Mar. 2006
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Like so many wrestling fans, largely WWE fans, this collection was a welcome release for me and was something I had been hoping for, for a long time. Although the price tag may seem a little steep, it is well worth the sum. Over 30 discs, containing some great moments from down the years is well worth it.
Although the former WWF logo is blurred out when visible and when spoken it is edited, this does not take away from the quality of this collection. Here, we have the ultimate anthology of the greatest events in sports-entertainment history with so many memorable matches.
If you are a a big fan of WWE, from past to present then you will not be dissapointed one bit. However, if you only enjoy the new era of wrestling, the complete anthology may not be just right for you. You can purchase seperate sets of past WrestleMania's, for instance- 1996-2001. My advice though is that you should purchase the entire collection and watch how the past greats have forged the way for the new stars. ]
All in all, the collection is brilliant and the added bonus of four free sport-cell cards is very welcome. A must for true fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very Moving Debut Novel From 'The Hardcore Legend', 7 Mar. 2006
This review is from: Tietam Brown (Hardcover)
As a keen reader and WWE fan, I was interested in reading this. I had previously read Mick Foley's previous titles but didn't know what to expect in his debut novel. However, my intrigue was soon replaced with excitement and eagerness to turn the pages and learn the rest of the story, just after the first chapter.
Foley achieves a great deal in his first attempt, by creating what every author intends on doing. He creates interesting characters, a great unfolding story and does so by making use of many traits. The book contains humour, horror, romance and even gives us a hint of history.
Unfairly, a lot of people judge the book before they even read a sentance, just because the fact the author is known for competing in the sports-entertainment industry. Whoever does this is making a huge mistake as Tietam Brown is one of the most refreshing and compelling novels that I have ever read. The book will make you laugh, cry and generally become involved, it's not to be missed.
I don't want to spoil the plot for you as the unexpected nature of the novel is what makes it so special. All I can say is expect the unexpected and get ready for a novel you will not forget in a hurry!
