Prague (Lonely Planet City Guides)
Prague (Lonely Planet City Guides)

We live in Prague and although this is a good guide in theory, a lot of the info is now out of date. Shops and restaurants change hands frequently here as in any large city, so a lot of the info regarding entertainment is no longer accurate. Time for a new edition please!

Beautiful illustrations that can be put together as a frieze or a poster. It's difficult to get nice alphabet friezes and this one is really tasteful. It also goes well with any decor.

5.0 out of 5 stars Get the video camera out!, 3 Jun. 2012
Great fun for both baby and parents. Both of our babies loved it and we have great footage of them doing their little dance in it. It's a bit fiddly to put on, but that is the same for all door bouncers. We have 2m high door frames, but we just added a length of sturdy rope between the harness section and metal clip on the elastic and it works beautifully. It's also fantastic for shifting stubborn wind!

4.0 out of 5 stars Too many typos, 19 Jun. 2011

I really enjoyed this book but the number of typos in it became infuriating. Not sure if this is only true of the kindle version but the publishers really need to fire the proofreader.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for creating safe play area, 9 Nov. 2010
I ordered this product as a lightweight alternative to a traditional wooden playpen as we wanted to have it shipped to Prague. I had seen the Lindam version and was less than impressed as it was rather wobbly. This product is lighter, cheaper, more attractive (being made from mesh, it looks less like a cage) and very secure. When attached to the wall brackets, it creates a really safe, spacious play area for our daughter. We have used it bent at a right angle with the gate at the corner and it is very robust, partly due to the plastic feet on either side of the gate. It folds up smaller than a traditional, large playpen as the sides are retractable.

I particularly like the mesh as there is no danger of my daughter trapping a limb or pulling herself up by the bars then falling and banging her head. The panels can be removed for washing and they stop stray toys from escaping too.

One point - this looks great if you need to use it extended to 2.5m or more. However, any less than that and the mesh panels gather up and it doesn't look all that nice (although it would still do the job).
