5.0 out of 5 stars Great book, 30 April 2013
Fantastic little book for SJT revision use. Not a lot of questions but each question's options was detailed in answers as to WHY and HOW each option is ranked.
Get other books to supplement need to practise questions but save this book as a "gold standard" reference for its answers on topics

1.0 out of 5 stars worst of the lot, 30 April 2013
This is the worst SJT book out of the lot of them. Flicked through the first 3 pages then ignored the rest of it - the SJT exam isn't a medical finals exam! There are no what is the most likely diagnosis type questions - but this book keeps on trying to give you them! Really annoying and by the end I was getting frustrated by it all.

3.0 out of 5 stars got a little scammed tbh, 30 April 2013
Thought that this would help me out for the SJT exam but in actual fact all it is is just a rehashed GMC guidance in "At a glance" series prettiness.
There werent too many sample questions neither. If you want to buy this and the ISC medical SJT book, but definitely not this book by itself.

Situational Judgement Test (Oxford Assess and Progress)
Situational Judgement Test (Oxford Assess and Progress)

Edition: Paperback

2.0 out of 5 stars Below par, 30 April 2013
Not the typical quality I expected from OUP to be honest. I bought it because this was the first book that came out on the market - and it was the only one available for a while.
The binding quality is to be desired, not like the usual OUP handbooks, this one seemed like it was printed using those cheap grey/brownish paper that you see for those cheapo corner shop puzzle books. The questions were alright, but the answers were to be desired since they just re-iterated why an option was top and last, but didn't really shed any light on why the rest of the options were arranged as they were (which is the whole point of the SJT exam!). had to use other SJT books to find out answers to similar questions and why an option was ranked thus

5.0 out of 5 stars Different yet better...., 13 Nov. 2012
I love (maybe love is too strong a word) zombie survival films.

I hate the jumpy things that modern films seems to eschew and love the survival in a post-zombie world and character development of which this show is so full of. I read the original series - and always imagined what the tv series would be like! I have to say that the differences were noticeable - but does not destroy the character of the series.

The show is slow moving at times - and you buying the dvds allows you to watch the whole season in a few sitting rather than watch it episode to episode on terresterial tv.

I am wathcing the new series online and the story just gets better!
My only wish now is to want World War Z made into a TV series and not a movie :S

The Sopranos - The Complete Series [DVD] [2007]
Dvd ~ James Gandolfini
Price: £49.99

5.0 out of 5 stars Like godfather but better, 13 Nov. 2012
I'm now on season 4 of the Sopranos - fantastic gritty series set in the year 1999 or so of a dysfunctional family whose father/husband is a philandering italian gang leader that is also seeing a psychiatrist.

Its like the godfather but in modern times filled with backstabbing, unexpected twists and more family dinners.

It makes for decent entertainment when there is nothing to see

4.0 out of 5 stars Omar be coming, 21 Oct. 2012
Loved the series - the gritty detective/bad guy boundaries are blurred at best, and mixed at worst.
You root for all the characters not just the good guys. Each series based oan separate side of the city, ie inner city, then the prots etc etc.

I have yet to find another TV series as good as this in the similar vein. If anyone knows of one - reply to my comments and let me know!

4.0 out of 5 stars A good book, 19 Oct. 2012
I love reading concise life coach style books - but I don't have the time to sit down and read a 400 page book on how to get better.

This is compact and allows the reader to essentially dip in and out of the book they want as its separted by 1-2 pages of texts. I love how he does it though - if you have ever read the 48 laws of power style of writing i.e. using examples from history and the authors experiences he weaves strong life coaching principles into the book drawing it all together.

Loved the book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, 1 Oct. 2012
6 foot 7 foot is what originally brought me to this album as I heard it from a Youtube comedy cover of it. It definitely isn't as good as Tha Carter 3/4, but it ain't too shabby. Defiitely consigned to listening if you get a chacne rather than recommended lsitening
