you have to wait for part 3 before the title means anything. and thats how the series took me. not bad but not good either. its another american style action vampire fantasy with a little twist which some may find amusing. the action scenes are well written and a bit over the top as you`d expect. I never quite understood the antipathy towards the "dead" divers but thats one of the reasons for the middle marking. I think this would appeal to a younger reader than i. late teens to twenties maybe.

Another gritty ball-shrinking intense small squad action drama. A bit of internal soul searching before the blood starts to spurt.

4.0 out of 5 stars A talking baby???????, 4 Mar 2014

Up to tufos standards again . Good action sequences and storylines BUT whilst i can get my head around talking animals ,,, When the baby pipes up its a bit of a jaw dropper. Also its not certain if the humans can understand it. Still a fair read though.

kurosowa really knows how to tell a story. these films will seem so familiar because they have been copied so many times. I first saw seven samurai when i was a child and have been hooked ever since. everyone should have these in their collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars campbell for president!, 14 Feb 2014

The man cant put a foot wrong. a bit of a King Midas with a word processor. He interweaves the politicking and machinations of the goodie and baddies across human space to the "Enigmatic" alien races.
You can almost feel the tension between the president and the general and he describes their lonlieness and paranoia. after all who can you trust in system built on mistrust?
