Three FITZGERALD novels in one volume such good reads. All her novels are so different but all written in precise prose
And gentle deadpan humour. If you have never read a Fitzgerald novel then start today-you will not be disappointed !

This novel if my favourite novel so far this year 2013. Tan Twan Eng gives such a sense of place, Maylasia ,and sense of time and the
characters all lead such varied lives, also liked the sets of values given all the way through the novel. It asks,
as many questions as it poses. Great novel. Pamela

5.0 out of 5 stars Exhibition at the Tate, 26 July 2013

A must for visitors to this wonderful exhibition at the Tate. I think he is an important British artist, showing the culture of our country and at last given an important
exhibition to show his work at its best. Well written and the contents give us a
catalogue of plates and list of works. Another addition to for the History of Arts books!

My Dog Tulip (New York Review Books Classics)
My Dog Tulip (New York Review Books Classics)

5.0 out of 5 stars My Dog Tulip Jr Ackerley, 4 Aug. 2011
High praise for My Dog Tulip. If like me, an animal
lover, and of dogs in particular this'tale' is for
you!
The account of JR Ackerleys sixteen year companionship
with Tulip, a German Shepherd is one of warmth,
humour, unconditional love, but never sentimental.
Tulip always behaves as a canine, but both are untrained. If you are intending to
buy a dog -read this first. However, not recommended for anyone who dislikes dogs!
