5.0 out of 5 stars Welsh Wonderland, 7 July 2014

Unlike many other big bands, the Manics do not just churn out the same album year in year out. What you have here is the counterpoint to the resigned, weary beauty of rewind the film. This is a fiery, angry album that sticks a middle finger up to everyone as the welsh wonders set about setting fire to expectations with a set of Bowie meets Krautrock meets Goldfrapp meets Simple Minds chaos. It really is something to behold. For me it is the best album they have done in a long time, perhaps even since Everything Must Go.

5.0 out of 5 stars an absolute revelation, 15 Aug 2013
If you only use your desktop pc or laptop for word, web and basic games then this is the ideal replacement. It boots within 5 seconds and is super quick. Even high def video playback is great. In fact for web usage and online videos and facebook games it is actually quicker and smoother than my alienware gaming laptop which was 10x the price. With the new os update adding loads of offline functionality there really is no reason not to get one. At under 300 quid it is a steal. However if you want to run the latest games like call of duty then this is not for you as it was not built for this.

Imagine The Jesus Lizard combining with Big Black. Now imagine they have a decent production budget that makes them sound huge without dulling the sharp angular edges. The energy on display is immense and the riffs, dear god the riffs, just huge. Really people should make these guys huge.

1.0 out of 5 stars Monumental screw up by ubisoft, 22 Oct 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars

Yet again ubisoft have screwed pc owners. Not content with the drm debacle of the other year. They are now issuing games without the required activation key. Did as ubisoft asked yet nearly 3 days later no key. Utter shambles. Considering returning the product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, 16 Mar 2012

In the current climate of gloom and doom it is so refreshing to see a book so uplifting. Wonderfully written with a clear passion. Perfect book to lift the strains and stresses of everyday life. You will cry, laugh and feel warm and fuzzy inside. I hope the book sells well, both of them deserve success.

5.0 out of 5 stars Intelligent music for intelligent people, 10 Sep 2011

Beautiful album that foregoes boring, cliche ridden structures for something more intelligent and interesting. Reminds me heavily of Tool mixed with Radiohead and Explosions in The Sky. Just beautiful. One of the few albums to make me cry due to its beauty.
