Guess I had a faulty one???, 13 Mar 2013
Purchased this to replace a USB video capture device in the hope it would offer better capture quality. Item came well presented and was easy enough to install. Hooked up my sky box via svhs to back up my saved recordings only to find random horizonal lines appear over the video. Thought it may have been only on the preview so done a test record and the lines where on the recording also. Changed cables, un-installed, re-installed only to find same issue. Removed card and returned to Amazon for a refund. Maybe I had a faulty one? but it didnt work for me.

Have a piece of fruit cake if it isint too much like self cannibalism!, 5 Jan 2013
I cant tell you how many years Watching has took off me! I lived not far from Meols, and worked in Liverpool and whilst both places have changed a lot, its brilliant to look back at Watcthing and see it all the places, cars, and the fashions of times gone by. Brenda and Pam are sisters, who sometimes love to hate each other but couldnt be without either. They would find trouble in an empty house As for Watching, I have not laughed so much! I really dont want to say to much and spoil any of the plot, Brenda and Pams Mum, Joyce cracks me up. Joyce always stays in on a Wednesday evening as she likes to have a rest before the weekend and she wont let Brenda help her put her eye lashes on, last time she helped, she put them on upside down and Joyce went all the way to work thinking it was raining. Joyce thinks electricity is marvelous it knows to make fridges cold and kettles hot, and likes to get her Christmas shopping done early while its still light. Its just brilliant, buy it, watch it and you will love it!

They dont make them like they used to!, 5 Jan 2013
Having been a fan of HP for some time, of late I have lost a lot of respect for them. Purchased this printer to replace an old HP printer that had given me over 10 years of hassle free printing. Quality has hit the floor with this model, from the build quality to the print quality. Printer and its parts feel very flimsy, from the paper guides which are quite stiff to move but highlight just how flimsy and low quality the plastic is used on the build of the printer. Loading and unloading the toner, again, feels shockingly brittle. HP have moved over to toners with chips in, same kind of system that inkjet printers use. What I loved about my old HP laser was the toners. I could run them, shake them and run them further until the print was too faded to read, I dont think this will be the case with the toner used in this printer. I think once it hits its chipped limit, it will fail to print even if it has toner left. I do have to give credit to the speed at which it prints. Either from usb or a print job over wifi, this printer does not hang about, its fast! Even from sleep, the printer is fast to wake and produce the print. Credit also for the self install, even though you get a cd in the box along with a somewhat short USB cable, the printer has the software built in so whenever you plug it into a new computer, it will install its own driver. Wifi was easy to set up and was printing wireless in no time. I also like the web interface, gives you complete control and allows you to monitor the status of the printer etc. What I cant forgive is the rather slightly below, well very below average print quality. For a laser printer its poor. If your printing in black and white, you will be kind of ok, anything between black and white and its really not good. Greys are patchy, faded. Also, EVERY print this printer prints, and it does not matter what stock you print on, the printer scores 2 lines down the paper so every print comes out with tram lines from the top to the bottom of the page. Its really hard to score this printer any more than the two stars. HP have took HUGE steps backwards with this printer. Build quality of past was solid, print quality was solid. Dont know how HP could get this model so wrong when they have done so well in the past. Would I recommended this printer, no, not at all.

Amazing drives, Amazon - ingly poor packing., 25 Nov 2012
Purchased two of these drives to go along 2 others that I have. Have to say the drives are nothing short of outstanding. Hand on heart I can honestly say the 2 that I currently have run on a P8P67 Pro on 6GBs sata ports in Raid 0 and they give my 2 x M4 SSD`s a run for their money, these drives really are that good! However, the poor stars is down to the p**s-poor packing amazon use on these delicate items. Both drives arrived and when I opened the box, my heart sank when I saw the 2 egg shells used to suspend the drive within the box, completly crushed. This indicates the drives have experenced trauma. No way was I going to risk my time and valuable data on these drives, boxes closed an awaiting amazon to collect and refund. When will amazon get their act together and pack such delicate items accordinly, more so when it has to pass through the hands of Home Delivery Network / Yodel. £260 lost sale their Amazon!

Dissapointing Results, 11 Jun 2012
Sadly, I did not have much luck with this item. Purchased on the hope it would give me wired like speeds without having to trail cable all over the house. Item claimed to have a range up to 300 meters, sadly, I had trouble getting the item to work over a range of about 50 meters. Connection was very intermittent, I constantly kept getting a box popping up from the Powerline Utility program informing me that it had lost connection with the plugs or no plugs where detected. A moment later, the plugs would come back online again. When the plugs did find each other, one plug would show a green light and the other orange. This according to the instructions indicated that the plugs where running at different speeds to each other? I would of assumed that as the plugs where synced to each other, they would run at the same speed as each other? I found speed over the plugs very slow, not much faster than wireless and when used to stream from my NAS to my Sonos, this caused the Sonos to stutter and freeze. Once I removed the plugs and went back to my old method (wireless) Sonos worked a treat again. I also found file transfer slow, no where near its claimed speed. I did spend a good while making sure I was not doing anything wrong, I ensured the plugs where direct into the wall sockets, and not in an extension socket (which I did try and found it reduced the performance of the plugs even further) I made sure the plugs where on the same circuit, I moved them closer, further etc and still struggled to get performance to justify the items cost. I tried resetting them, syncing them, setting them as private network, public network etc etc and still no improvement in their performance. I did think it may have been the wiring in my home, as its an old cottage but recently rewired so I tried them in a friends 2010 built home and performance was no better. I also found the plugs to run hot. Maybe I had a bad pair. Item returned for a refund.

Great Film Sadly Let Down By Worse Than Poor Picture Quality., 15 Oct 2011
As a film, and if I could, I would score it 3.5 Sadly, the reason for the 1 star is down to the fact of the extremely poor quality of the dvd. In all the years I have bought DVDs, this dvd the has to be the worst that I have ever seen. I will think twice in future of buying any DVDs mastered by Blue Dolphin if the quality of Blonde Fist is anything to go by. I have a video tape of this film thats 20 odd years old that has better picture quality than this DVD.

Good Card (Despite premature failure) and Brilliant back up from Amazon!, 11 Sep 2011
Bought 2 of these cards back in May for SLI, amazing performance. One of the cards started to come up with warnings that the VGA chipset fan had failed. I email and called Asus and I have to be honest and say they where worse than useless (but I knew that anyway from previous experience). I then called Amazon and they got it sorted in one phone call. I would never hesitate to buy from Amazon after this experience. Just hassle free but most of all, they get things sorted when you do have a problem.

5 * for show, 1 * for the dvd release, 22 Jun 2011
5 Stars for the show, way too funny as always. Can only give 1 star for this dvd release due to the heavy handed edit, it cuts out a big chunk of the story. Save your money and catch it on Gold where its often shown complete without the edits that this DVD has.

Not very good., 22 Jun 2011
As per the heading, I find this drive not very good. Ignore the brand name (Pioneer) and the claimed speeds, fastest speed I get is 3x using branded discs. Drive is also very poor when it comes to ripping cds with EAC, reports random read errors on mint discs. No 2 reads of the same disc give the same results. Drive often fails to auto-run any cds/dvds inserted and/or often fails to notice a cd/dvd has been placed in the drive. Shop around, better drives at better prices to be had.

WD VelociRaptor 600GB, 21 May 2011
Had waited for ages for the price of this drive to drop to £155 in line with ebuyer, when it did, I snapped one up due to the fact I perfer amazon to ebuyer. Was horrified when the drive arrived in just its anti-static bag and then put in one of amazons wrap around packs. Didnt even bother to try the drive, sent it right back to amazon and got a refund. Wasnt going to risk my data on a drive that may well have suffered knocks and bangs. Why on earth would you send something so delicate in such poor packing!!! So, cant write a review on the performace of the drive sadly, just the poor packing amazon used. I Did go on and purchase 2 of these drives from ebuyer also, they arrived in jiffy bags and where DOA. Returned them but have to say, their customer service is no where near as smooth as amazons. May purchase them from amazon again and see if they have improved the way they ship such items.
