5.0 out of 5 stars excellent, 22 Dec. 2000
Darth Vader's got a secret, people. True you probably know it now, but in case you don't, I'm not gonna tell ya! Put simply, Star Wars suddenly gains more depth, emotion and brilliance in just 4 words.

5.0 out of 5 stars compliments the novel, 22 Dec. 2000
The graphic novel of the Shadows of the Empire doesn't follow the plot of the novel exactly, it often shows parallel events to what is happening in the novel, such as what Boba Fett was up to during this time period. Reading both is highly recommended. Shadows of the Empire is a bigger story than each volume that makes it. Its like putting a jigsaw together.

5.0 out of 5 stars must be experienced by fans, 22 Dec. 2000
Star Wars fans will rejoice in this book of the script by Brian Daley. If you haven't heard the play, listen to it. It's a brilliant version of the movie. I love it!

"Star Wars Episode One": Facsimile Edition Script Book
by George Lucas
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars The film in print, 25 Nov. 2000
If you enjoyed the movie, this is the complete script. George Lucas reintroduces the old friends we love and lets us meet new ones. This also has nice pictures and is identical to the final cut of the film.

Phantom Menace: Novelisation ("Star Wars Episode One")
by Patricia.c. Wrede

5.0 out of 5 stars as good as the adult version, 18 Nov. 2000
This book is as good as Terry Brooks' book in its own way. Its shorter length makes it accessible to younger people, and there is a nice photo section in the middle. There is also a wonderful passage during the final battle which foreshadows future events...

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Stuff!, 11 Nov. 2000
Shirley Walker is the worthy successor to Danny Elfman, not Elliot Goldenthal. This score is truly moving. The choral opening is just superb. Highly recommended, it helps the excellent film considerably.

5.0 out of 5 stars Split down the middle, 11 Nov. 2000
Two-Face is perhaps the scariest baddy in Batman. He's also a figure of pity, his origin a tragic accident. His split personality makes him dangerously unpredictable. Throw him into the animated Batman, and you have an extremely satisfying cocktail.

5.0 out of 5 stars The fun continues, 11 Nov. 2000
The innovative Batman animated series continues to impress, with good voice work, threatening villains, and of course a great dark atmosphere.
