Carry on Koprofilia-ing, 14 Mar 2013
Rather like a flea living on another flea, NJ Saunders has managed to write a very funny parody of what, I think, must be some sort of huge, much less funny, yet vastly profitable, parody.
Apart from being very funny, in a very British sort of way, one great advantage of buying 50SoS***e is that you don't have to read the real 50SoGrey (or the equally awful sequels). NJ Sanderson saves you almost $50 on the "Fifty Shades Trilogy Shrinkwrapped Set" (yes it does exist and yes, that shrinkwrap does sound kind of kinky).
Parodies often suffer from going on too long, NJ SImpson manages to finish her parody at the perfect moment. Just enough to satisfy and nothing else. I was left wanting more, but actually quite glad that it had come to an happy end.
Finally NJ Saunderson never takes the concept of the title too far. She manages to avoid the temptation of including any extreme koprofilia, focusing more on being funny, Think farty and jokey not anything too disturbing, dangerous or fifthly.
