A History of St Kitts: The Sweet Trade
A History of St Kitts: The Sweet Trade
by Vincent K. Hubbard
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant from start to finish, 26 Nov 2010
Good read, many interesting facts about the historical origin of plants, animals, the Imperial conflicts, and a summation of the 18th to 20th century in St Kitts. Great purchase if you want to know more about the 'Sweet Trade' in St Kitts and what made it so well known many, many years ago among the Europeans.

Tunisia (Globetrotter Travel Pack)

Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent guide to Tunisia + Free Map, 23 April 2008
In depth look at history, culture, food, modern day life and entertainment in Tunisia.
Jousiffe breaks down Tunisia in manageable chunks:

1. Introducing Tunisia
2. Tunis
3. Northern Tunisia
4. The Cap Bon Tunisia
5. Central Tunisia
6. Gulf of Gabes
7. The South and the Desert
- Travel Tips
- Index
+ Free Map Scale 1: : 1 000 000

Jousiffe gives tips on where to go, restaurants not to be missed, the best places to shop, and also star rated attractions.
The photographs really to encapsulate Tunisia, and make you feel like you are already there. I have compared this guide to some of the other better known guide books for Tunisia and I think this one comes out on top.
It is good size, so can be carried on you when travelling through the gorges of Tunisia, or makes good reading on the beach.
Jousiffe also gives you extra value for money with some very, very, basic Arabic phrases which could came in useful to you on your trip. I would still advise purchasing either a French or Arabic phrase book for your trip.

Happy reading.

5.0 out of 5 stars Real rap music!, 15 Nov 2007
I am not someone who usually gose out of their way to write a review, so here goes...
I am a fan of Dipset, Hell Rell Cam'Ron, Jim Jones, Young Jeezy and the rest but my favourite artist from the set has to Juelz. Purely because he is bringing to rap back up there where it belongs - on Top! The artist can actually put his talent where is mouth and has got such commercial acts as Jay-Z running scared!

A couple of tracks to name a few, that I think you will appreciate...

Disc 1:
- Harlem Stunting
- How much more (dedicated to Jay-Z)
- We will rock you
- Aayoooo-Ight ~(Cam'ron features on this one)
- Jump, Jump, Jump (House of pain hook, but all new words)
- Round here (Game and Jim Jones features)
- Throw it up

Disc 2:

- Slow down
- Halftime show (choooooooooooooooon!!)
- Get down
- Glock pop!
- Preview
- Uhh Ahh
- Drop a Couple of Pounds
- You Ain't My Homie
- We Don't Give a F__k
