3.0 out of 5 stars So so, 9 Nov 2009
This review is from: Is Harry On The Boat? [DVD] (DVD)
Somewhat disappointed with this DVD. Bought it after reading the amazing cult book of the same name, and paid quite a lot for the DVD. Seemed like it had just been copied straight off TV and the DVD cover was printed off the computer and stuck in a case, i.e. maybe mass selling?
On the other hand, it was worth watching as I loved the book - very overpriced though.

1.0 out of 5 stars Hated It..., 2 Aug 2009
This review is from: This Charming Man (Paperback)
Read this on recommendation as I've never read a book by Marian Keyes before. Found it really difficult to get into, especially Lola's diary entry-style sections of the book. Didn't want to carry on reading it but made myself as I hate not seeing a book through to the end. The ending was pleasing, but just didn't really enjoy it.
Was glad to finish it and start reading something else.
If you love Marian Keyes' books then great, but this just wasn't for me!

Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend
Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend
by Jenny Colgan
Edition: Paperback
Price: 6.17

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved It!, 2 Aug 2009
Took this on holiday for me as it looked like a good summer read. I've read another of Jenny Colgan's books (Operation Sunshine last year, which was also brilliantly funny), and this one did not disappoint.
Could'nt put this book down and ended up reading it in one day on the sunbed. Parts of it made me laugh out loud!
Go and buy this book - it's brilliant and it was just a shame it had to end!
