1.0 out of 5 stars Great game ruined once again., 5 Nov 2011
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
I used to love to hate MW2 - a great game ruined by a moronic server system (there aren't any!).
I had high hopes for Dice but alas, these guys sold out as well. This is the end of gaming. The gaming industry has become so competitive that they are forced to push out crappy beta versions to use us, the gamer community, as free testing labor.

I refuse to spend my hours testing their buggy game which crashes, stalls and fails to load. Great game when it runs but broken.

1.0 out of 5 stars Windows Live: Unplayable game, 28 Nov 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Bioshock 2 (PC DVD) (CD-ROM)
I've spent hours now trying to get past the Windows Live sign-up procedure... sadly, it can't be done and I can't start the game. It keeps giving me all kinds of errors I have no idea nor interest in solving. This game goes straight into the garbage - it can't be played. Liked the first Bioshock though... too bad.

1.0 out of 5 stars Riddled with errors!, 25 Jun 2010
This is my first title within Flash games; I am, however, not new to Flash or programming (Java + AS3). This book is so completely riddled with errors, omissions and extremely bad practices to the point of being completely useless!

The very first project resulted in 15 compiler errors! Including faulty syntax and references to several classes that don't even exist!

This is not at all intended at the beginner or result oriented developer who wants to have fun with it. This title is intended for hardcore bug hunters - if that audience exists.

I can not in any way possible recommend this title to anyone, whatever their background. This title is simply very, very, VERY bad.

A total and complete wasted amount of money for a very expensive book; someone should be ashamed of releasing this title.

Simply the lowest quality title I have ever seen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Highly interesting!, 8 Dec 2009
For studying Tesla, this is quite interesting in that you get an indirect view at the man - he writes about himself. It might not be entirely accurate and heavily biased at some points, but that's what makes this interesting.

NOTE: This contains the EXACT same text as MY INVENTIONS (his autobiography) This one is just slightly cheaper.

4.0 out of 5 stars Could have been the perfect game., 30 Nov 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This game is amazing! It is infinitely regretful that they haven't been able to fix what didn't work for COD4 as well: The insanely unstable online server system. Servers crash, you get terrible pings etc. Easily eats up 30 minutes finding a game that works - and you get to play for one single round before going back into the lobby hell. Too bad. Could have been perfect.

This is why I sold COD4, this is why I didn't hang onto this game as well - don't wanna spend 50% of my game-time in lobby hell.

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best video game ever, 19 Nov 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This could very well be the best video game ever made. Never before has a game shown so much character development and such a great job of storytelling - yes, it's linear, and yes it does use a lot of cut-scenes; and simply, that's why it's so darn good. The gameplay is solid but the cut-scenes make this title something far more than a game.

Hideo Kojima is the only one who truly gets it. He's the Spielberg of video-games.

I was blown away. You owe it to yourself to buy this game.

1.0 out of 5 stars You'll be surprised., 2 Jun 2008
You'll be surprised how horrible an OS can be. You'll be surprised of how little functionality you can find in this program. Simple tasks like connecting a camera became daunting tasks - demanding hours of research and running around forums to learn that there is no help to get.

I can think of no reason whatsoever to "upgrade" from Windows XP since Vista is as reliable as Windows 95 and as intuitive as quantum mechanics.

Trust me. Give Vista at LEAST a year or 2 to just become mildly functional.

5.0 out of 5 stars Profound, 1 Jun 2008
This is without comparison the book that has had the most profound effect on me. I've been reading self-help books from Dalai Lama to Dr. Phil, but this is the only one where every single line rings true and sends you thinking: "Yes, that's exactly how it is! That's exactly how I feel."

Truly a life-changing book. You owe it to yourself to try it out.

1.0 out of 5 stars What happened to don't fix what aint broken., 21 Nov 2007
I'm not conservative - I love innovation and change; but why in the world has Microsoft completely shattered all resemblance to any previous word processor when we've all been writing with the same layout for 10 years? That's like changing the layout of a keyboard to make it more "streamlined" and pretty - values that Microsoft thinks matters. If you come from Office 2003 get ready for some serious work just to change paragraph settings, save a document, change the font etc. A tool should be functional. Office 2007 is anything but that.

1.0 out of 5 stars Close to uselsss., 12 Nov 2007
This operating system is so bugged that it's close to useless. You'll find 9 out of 10 programs not working; games - don't even bother! There is absolutely no reason whatsoever to install this to replace your XP system - XP is tested, working great and full of support files; Vista reduces your hardware to half its potential all in the name of looks. If you just want to start up your PC and watch the desktop for hours, this is the system for you. Don't try and run anything on it.
